Coeur d’Alene Family: The Frames

The Frame family isn't huge. It isn't small. In fact, the Frames are very much what one might expect when meeting an American family. Three children who are now adults, and their sweet mother who gets cold easily. There is no doubt that they are family, and that they love each other. I was lucky to have met them all. Check out some of the photos from our mini session the other day.

Coeur d’Alene Engagement: Waylon & Arionne

It all started with a haircut — a haircut, a girl, and a dude who wanted to do something about it. Waylon told me that when he first saw Arionne, he was at a friend’s house getting a haircut and she had a couple friends there. One was particularly cute, and he got her number, or so he thought.

The Why Series: Engagement Photos

This is the fourth installment of an ongoing series of posts called “The Why Series.” These are where I explain why I include certain things in my wedding packages, and why they are so important. Things like why I include two photographers, why digital files are so great, and why all-day coverage means more than ten hours, and why that’s essential for what I provide.

Every wedding package I have includes the engagement files, as well. The importance of these extends beyond the simple value of having beautiful engagement photos, and I can’t wait to tell you why an engagement session before your wedding is so helpful. Simply put, engagement photos allow us to work together before your wedding. Read on!

The Why Series: Digital Files

This is the third part of an ongoing series called “The Why Series.” This is where I explain why I include certain things in my wedding packages, and why it’s so important. If you’d like to read the first installment, “Why Two Photographers?”, check it out here. I would also encourage you to also read the second part, called “Why All-Day Coverage?” I show photos that never would have existed if I only covered ten hours of your wedding day.

Every wedding package I have includes the digital files. This isn’t too uncommon these days, but it’s certainly not what has traditionally happened. I’m going to talk about what makes digital files so important, but also what I do with my digital files that sets them apart from many other photographers who offer the same thing.

My Family: A New Addition

I’ve talked about my family on this blog several times, like when my son Isaiah turned two, almost a year ago now, on Mother’s Day. And even a post a year and a week ago exactly. All of them have strongly featured my absolutely wonderful son Isaiah, who fills my life with adventure, sword fighting, running, laughing, crying, and everything in between. One thing my wife, Crystal, and I have always wanted was another child to give Isaiah someone to play with and to share life with. After all, I grew up with two brothers (one older and one younger) and they are among my best friends to this day. How could I deny such a privilege to my own son?
