Yer and Kia put together one of the most beautiful weddings I've been a part of. The Hagadone Event Center was absolutely stunning, and made for some amazing ceremony and reception moments. Yer and Kia couldn't have been easier to work with, and the Cameo Events team made things go smoothly, on time and were really fun to work with. The weather went from 95 degrees and sunny early in the morning to a crazy lightning and thunderstorm in the evening. Kia would, at the very end of the reception, jump into the pool in the middle of a downpour, which was awesome, crazy, and happened way to fast for me to focus in the pitch black.

Coeur d'Alene Senior: Kelly Thomas

I'm taking a break from some beautiful wedding photos this week to share some senior photos I had the privilege of shooting. I met Kelly the day I took her senior photos, and there is no doubt she is going places. She is beautiful, smart, athletic, and kind. It made the photo shoot easy, and it went by quickly. Ever since, I've been dying to post these photos to share some of the awesome shots I got.

To put it simply, Michael and Julianna are amazing. Their story is unique and brings with it an awesome "it was meant to be" vibe. While they met when they were kids, Julianna about 5 years old, it was later when Michael stepped out of his comfort zone and asked this cute, young adult woman to come to the races with him. Things would take off from there, eventually leading to the photos your about to see. I'm also pumped to share with you their Photo Story, as it brings so much more emotion into the day. :)

Spokane Wedding: Ryan & Stephanie

Ryan and Stephanie had an amazing approach to their wedding. Simple, beautiful, and easy going. It's odd to say a couple were easy going when it came to their wedding, as so often we get stuck on this idea that the wedding isn't about celebrating a declaration that we want to spend the rest of our lives with this person. Instead, weddings can sometimes because this thing that is all about the people that are coming to the celebration. Somehow it loses it's focus and becomes this headache and area of stress. Ryan and Stephanie seemed to brush this off and find this awesome middle ground where things would happen, and people would have a good time, but they weren't going to be too concerned about any of it.

Coeur d'Alene Engagement: Adam & Dana

I have a poster-sized picture with Adam on my kitchen wall. You see, at my wedding four years ago I had the photographer take a picture with my wife and I and all of our guests. Adam was front and center in that photo, and every time I walk into the kitchen to make a bean and cheese burrito, I see my friend. It's funny to think of where things were then and where they are now. I've shot several weddings of the people in that picture, and it makes me super excited to be shooting a wedding for the dude who so obviously had fun at my wedding four years ago. (And he caught the garter!)
