It’s not very often I photograph a wedding that has even 250 people attending. In fact, most venues don’t even allow for that many people. But when it comes to Ben and Leanne, 250 wasn’t quite enough. They’re just that awesome. It’s easy to say, but even easier to see — as you witness how they interact, laugh, and smile, it becomes obvious that these two are special.

I haven’t done a blog on Monday before, but I thought my photo shoot with Rachel was a great time to start up Bonus Blog Monday. It won’t happen all the time, but when it does, it’s a bonus! That said, Rachel was awesome, beautiful, and super easy to work with, and I think it shows.

I couldn’t have been luckier with this photo shoot. Not only did we get to take photos out in Green Bluff, Washington, where the fields are gorgeous and they make amazing pumpkin donuts (which has nothing to do with the story), but Arianna is amazingly beautiful, gifted, and, for lack of a better term, magnetic.

Isaac called me up one day as I was doing an engagement photo shoot. Lucky for me, the couple I was photographing was changing outfits, so I had a spare moment. Turns out they wanted to have me as their photographer, and that their wedding would be at a farm in Bonners Ferry, Idaho. It all sounded great to me, so we scheduled a time to do their engagement photos. It was during this meeting, the engagement session, that we really started to get to know each other. I realized they were both ready and willing to do mostly anything for a great photo, and I found out more about the bride and groom.

I met Tim a long time ago at my old college ministry. He was this cocky kid that played basketball and thought he was funny. Turns out, after you get to know him, he can be funny. This is a common first impression of tim, even Ben, his best man, would say during his toast that when he first met Tim, he didn't like him. Kelsy, on the other hand, would say that she loves his humor, and has always loved it. This made it into their incredible vows, which were absolutely awesome, touching and hilarious.
