Settlers Creek Wedding: Keith & Amy

Before I tell you about Keith and Amy's day, you should definitely check out their Photo Story, here

When I met Keith and Amy for their engagement photo shoot, it was raining - and not just a little bit either - a torrential downpour. It was so bad, in fact, we never even got out of our cars, we texted each other from one parking space away and decided it was best to reschedule. The thing is, when it does that on a wedding day, there is no rescheduling. And boy did it rain on September 17th. Rain, wind, cold - not an ideal day.

Looyenga Family Christmas

My wife Crystal and I live downtown Coeur d'Alene. I work a lot in Spokane, but we love it out here. It has such a great "small town feel" even though it offers almost everything. The Christmas holiday is one of my favorites to spend with my family. Every year we head out to Greenbluff to chop down a Christmas tree of our own, take it home and decorate it up real nice. It's a great time with family, and it's one of those times that you always cherish.

Coeur d'Alene Resort wedding with bride and groom kissing at night on cruise boat

Coeur d'Alene Resort Wedding: David & Sherry

David and Sherry's wedding was a beautiful cruise boat wedding on Coeur d'Alene Lake. They are two people who met at work. David, the boss who loved tea a little too much, and Sherry, the receptionist that just so happened to be on the way to, and from, the tea David all of a sudden started loving. He would make up excuses to get more, and spend time chatting with her about his kids, and her kids.

Idaho wedding on a lake with bride and groom kissing on dock at sunset

Idaho Wedding: Trent & Brianna

I remember when I first "met" Trent and Brianna. I was driving home from Seattle and knew I wouldn't make the Facetime meeting by the time I got home. So my family and I stopped in a park, and I talked to them there. It was fun, it was absolutely unique. They are that way though, unique, so looking back it isn't surprising that our first meeting - at least on my end - was unique. Their engagement session (while cold) was a blast, and their wedding followed those same themes. The ceremony was incredible, the location was beautiful, the ideas were fresh, and the sunset was awesome. I loved every minute of their wedding, from the great people in the bridal party, to the beautiful reveal, to the awesome dancing. It is an honor to be able to share their memories with you.

Green Bluff Engagement: Brendon & Kaylee

They met when Kaylee knocked on Brendon's dorm room door. She thought it was a great idea to go around and introduce herself to everyone on her floor - Kaylee's just cool like that. Brendon saw this beautiful girl at his door and thought "oh heyyy" Simply put they would become friends.
