A beautiful family from Spokane Washington walking through a field and laughing just before the holidays.

Spokane Family Photography: The Beaudine Family

I'm a Beaudine family fan. I've had the opportunity to get to know them a little over the last couple years, and every time I run into them, it's a joy. David is kind and always ready with smile, and their two boys are well behaved yet playful. Dani (whom I know the best) has such an energetic smile, and is someone who is just pleasant to be around. Time doesn't drag when you're with this family, it goes quickly. I had a lot of fun capturing them and David's sisters family, getting the cousins together, and these two family's in such a great setting.

Coeur d'Alene Family Photography: The Warker Family

This last summer Amy emailed me and told me she was getting married. She also told me it was only two weeks away. Over that whirlwind of a couple weeks we got to know each other, we talked, we had some coffee, we talked about their wedding day, and I had the chance to be there and capture a beautiful (and rainy) day in late June. If you haven't already, you should see those wedding photos, which are also on this blog. Anyway, fast forward to this winter and Amy called me up and asked me about family photos. How awesome is it that I got to capture these two getting married, but I also got to capture them with their new son (Max) and this incredible family they have started.

Coeur d'Alene Family Photography: The Yerglers

I've known the Yergler family for about a decade. Granted, they weren't the "Yergler's" then, it was Hank and Mandi. They were the friends that went to the same college group I did. We went bowling together. We played Rockband. Granted, we were never best friends, but we were friends. Then we grew up, got jobs, went to college, got married (them, obviously, but also myself) and started families. I remember seeing that Hank and Mandi were pregnant and being so happy for them. There is such an amazing thing watching old friends grow families, and in this case, such a beautiful one. I'm pumped I get to share these photos with you. That I had the opportunity to capture an amazing family.

Spokane Photography: Eric & Kayleigh's Engagement

They met while eating girl scout cookies and drinking beer - kind of. You see, Eric and Kayleigh had a mutual friend (one of their cousins) and he invited Kayleigh along for this cookie drinking expedition. They stayed at Eric's house, and Eric was NOT aware that Kayleigh would be coming along. So when he saw her walk in, his first instinct was to see if she was single (which she was). Technically, this wasn't the FIRST time they met, the first time they met they were both dating someone else, and there was nothing of interest there. But this time, after a couple well placed questions Eric learned the important detail; she was single.

Coeur d'Alene Wedding Photographers: Joe & Stephanie's Settlers Creek Wedding

Joe and Stephanie are two people who are so easy to be around. They are kind, soft spoken, and so genuine. I enjoyed my time with them on their engagement shoot, and that translated over to their wedding as well. But the great part about a wedding, is that not only do I get to spend more time with the bride and groom, I also get to get to know their friends and family.
