Spokane Wedding Photographer: Aaron & Mattie

I don't often get to photograph my friends weddings these days, often the date they pick is a date that's already been booked. So when Aaron got engaged and told me he was getting married on October 21st, I was quite excited. I didn't yet know if they would ask me, but the date was open, and I would actually have a chance. Turns out they did pick me, and getting to know Mattie (the sister of a friend of mine from college, ironically) and the rest of their friends was something I highly enjoyed. Their wedding was at such a great time, with beautiful fall colors, and even though it rained very hard that day, it did so when we were inside.

Spokane Winter Engagement: Connor & Dani

Dani and Connor wanted a winter, snowy engagement. So we set a date months in advance and hoped. The chances of snow falling or even being on the ground at the time of their shoot was very small, and as we got closer to the date, the less and less it looked like there would be snow. Our solution? Meet on Mt. Spokane where there would for sure be snow, and hopefully lots of it!

Spokane Engagement Photography: Nick & Caitlin

Nick and Caitlin are two people I know I'd get along with if we met randomly. It was so much fun for me to get to know them as we talked over facetime, and I was looking forward to our engagement shoot at Manito Park in Spokane Washington. We had the perfect weather, with a warm sunset coming through the trees on a day that wasn't nearly as cold as it was a couple days before. When you get a couple from out of town, you always hope you get the right weather, and in this case, it was a winner.

Settlers Creek Wedding: Mark & Beth

Mark and Beth and an incredible, beautiful and unique wedding at Settlers Creek in late October. The fields were tall, the trees were colorful, and the weather was cold. It was what you'd expect from a mid-October wedding, but I loved every moment of it. From the great toasts under the bistro lights in the amphitheater, to the ceremony in front of the barn silo's, Mark and Beth had a Settlers Creek wedding like I had never been a part of before. I enjoyed both of them, not just for their company, but how they interact with each other. I'm pumped to be the one who has the opportunity to share this beautiful Coeur d'Alene country wedding.

Coeur d'Alene Photographer: Cody & Kiah Engagement

When Cody was an 8th grader he was "the man". That is, all the girls thought he was cute, all the girls wanted to talk to him, to be with him, to date him. Kiah, a 7th grader definitely knew who Cody was. How could she not? Cody knew who Kiah was too, but that was about it. They weren't' really friends, but they knew each other.
