Spokane Family Photos: Beaudine Family

I met Dani through the Coeur d'Alene Resort and we've become friends. As we've worked together on various projects, we've talked, shared stories and learned about each others families. We've talked a lot about our families. So when Dani asked me to do some family photos for her, I was super excited. There are so many wonderful things I can say about Dani, but now there are even more wonderful things I can say about her husband and two boys. Our fall - yet surprise winter - family photo shoot was one I'll remember for a while, as the snow kept coming down! It made for a slightly cold, yet quite unique shoot with fall colors and patches of snow. Above all, it was the company I was with that made the shoot so enjoyable, and I look forward to seeing them more in the future.

Foxwood House Wedding: Daniel & Amber

Just north of Spokane, in Newport Washington, there is a beautiful house called the Foxwood House. It has tons of character inside and outside, from a beautiful yard, to lots of props, to beautiful forest surrounding the property. It was my first time photographing a wedding up at the Foxwood house, but I loved every part of it. Daniel and Amber were so easy to work with, and each aspect of their wedding was a blessing. From the perfect weather, to their beautiful first look, each moment up there was a lot of fun. It is a privilege for me to be able to share this wedding with everyone.

Beautiful Mountaintop Engagement: Scott & Kendra

He swiped right, and so did she. In this way, Scott and Kendra met - using an app called Tinder. The thing is, when they both swiped right they got "matched" but they never talked. They just moved on. No message was sent, no emoji. Eventually they would swipe right again - and get matched again. Except even then, they never talked. This happened several times, but finally after about the 4th time Scott decided he would message her (she was beautiful after all).

Spokane Family Photos: Doug & Julie

Doug and Julie are a pretty amazing couple, and when you include their amazing, beautiful dog you end up with a pretty awesome family. Family photos are something I always love to do, in so many ways it is the end result of a wedding. I photograph so many weddings, which is, in a way, the beginning of any family. So often that is when a couple starts to set apart their own traditions, their own way of doing things. So when I have the opportunity to take family photos, it's a beautiful thing to see what came from such a beautiful day. In Doug and Julie's world, that means an incredible dog, in a pretty awesome city, Spokane, and one small but beautiful family.

Beautiful Backyard Wedding: Daniel & Katey

Daniel and Katey are amazing and their wedding day reflected that. From the beautiful backyard wedding ceremony up in Dalton Gardens, to their unique and emotional reveal, to the party they had that went late into the night in Post Falls, each moment was filled with emotion, and joy, and a lot of great people. We not only enjoyed Daniel and Katey's company, but everyone in the wedding party and the guests that we met. They were fun, patient, and understanding. I'm excited to be the one who can share these images, these memories, these wedding photos, with you and the many people these two will meet in the years to come.
