They met at church. What I initially thought would happen after that sentence was that Rainer would walk over to Emma and introduce himself. He didn't. In fact, there is some debate as to who was staring at who first, but either way, they caught each other's eyes from across the room. Emma on her way in, Rainer on his way out (at least, I think I remember it was that way).

Plus, Bodie and Lucia are part of the youth group I help with, and I’ve loved getting to know them. This shoot was awesome because I got to interact with the whole family at once and know them even better. What an amazing family—so kind and wonderful to have in my life!

Read MoreThey met at work! Back in 2020 Bea started working at the Hayden Lake Country Club where Landon was already working. Landon said she caught his eye early, but because she was always wearing a mask he "couldn't tell if she was cute or not". This was all from a distance, as they hadn't really spoken at all. On Bea's side, she noticed Landon and she did think he was cute, because every once in a while he'd come in where she was serving and get a burger and some fries - aka, no mask.

Read MoreEvery once in a while I get the privilege of photographing some people I know. And in this case, that was half true. I’ve had the privilege of knowing several members of the Cypher family (Ezra and his sister Eliza) over the last couple of years as I am the youth pastor at the youth group they go to. I’ve had Ezra over to my house, and beaten him in a football game (he may be taller than me, but don’t discount my old-man muscle). So getting to meet the whole family, watch them interact, and get to know them more myself was absolutely awesome. So excited to share these photos, and definitely looking forward to the next time!
