Emily and Sean's Fall Manito Park Engagement

Sean and Emily met at Gonzaga, although their story didn’t begin with them immediately noticing each other. Emily first noticed Sean from a distance when they were at Chapel. Sean, meanwhile, hadn’t really noticed her in the same way. Over the years, though, they gradually became friends, and eventually one particular outing started to change things: a group of friends went rollerblading together, and Sean and Emily began to really connect.

The funny thing is, Emily had liked Sean from a distance for quite a while. Sean had always thought Emily was cute, too, but there was a problem: he was about to leave to study abroad. Starting a relationship right before leaving didn’t seem to make much sense, so the timing just wasn’t right.

While Sean was away, Emily started spending time with another friend, who ended up developing feelings for her. So when Sean returned, it seemed like Emily wasn’t interested. That friend was, in a sense, running interference between the two of them.

It wasn’t until a little later that Sean and Emily finally found their way back to each other. This time, they started dating for real.

And now, after all those years of missed connections, almost-right timing, and a little bit of interference, Sean and Emily are getting married! I'm so excited to be there, meet their friends and family, and capture the moment in an incredible way.
