Working with Brands

It is no mystery that I love hiking and being in the outdoors. It’s one of my favorite ways to spend time with my friends and my family. There’s something about being in the outdoors that’s relaxing, adventurous and so so fun. Recently i’ve been working with various brands while on these trips to take incredible photos of their gear in amazing places. I wanted to show off some of what i’ve been doing with them. Being that I live in the Pacific Northwest, I am often in the position to be in some incredible places, and I have the ability and the knowledge to take excellent photos of those moments. What a privilege it’s been working with these incredible companies and products.

New Years Eve Party at the Davenport Historic - Tom and Lissa

Tom and Lissa have been married for twenty years. TWENTY. And so, on the day of their anniversary (New Years Eve) they decided to celebrate - and celebrate they did! They had so many great friends at their vow renewal, great moments, and of course, incredible outfits. Look no further than that red suit jacket and red dress they wore, Gonzaga red - if you missed it - and they celebrated, danced, and had a great time. Doing a New Years Eve wedding is always fun, and this one was no different (even though it was technically not a wedding) as everyone comes ready to party, and ready to stay to the countdown. In the end, it was beautiful, fun, and i’m so excited to share these moments with you!

Rainy Christmas Engagement with Jared and Aubrey

They met in college. At the time, Aubrey had a boyfriend, so Jared and her didn't really talk much. Her first thought of Jared was that he was "a little nerdy" to which Jared said was "fair" and that he was the guy that "knew Hebrew" - which Ironically he didn't know much then - although he knows much more now. Jared, for his part, didn't really notice Aubrey much - he said he purposefully kept his distance because he knew she had a boyfriend.

Christmas Family Photos with the Hockers

I only had the chance to meet the Hocker family the day we did their family shoot. We got lucky with no rain, and semi-warm weather. It was beautiful. That said, I had an absolute blast getting to know this family of five, more if you count grandma and gramps and the beautiful girlfriend who also came along. We had a lot of fun, with some great personality, and i’m excited to be able to share them with you.

Jake and Chelsea's Winter Engagement

They met years ago at church. Chelsea and Jake were introduced as two people who would be "best friends" - and that was true. They became best friends, did so many things together, from Sky Diving to watching movies. But they weren't together. In fact, they were "just friends" (in a very real sense) for years. Jake told me that it was several years in, after some complications in his life he started seeing Chelsea as more than a friend. He noticed how kind she was, how thoughtful, and how she treated his boys. But, because she was his best friend, he decided to not pursue it. This was true for over a year. Then one day, Chelsea realized that she loved Jake. It wasn't that he was just a friend, he was more than that to her.

Carson and Ali's Rainy December Engagement

Technically, they met in middle school - although neither of them really remembers it. If we want to start talking about when their friendship actually started to grow, it would be around their sophomore year of high school. They would have history and math together and would often sit near each other. They would talk and have fun. Ali remembers this time because Carson caught her eye - she thought he was cute.
