Dana and Troy's June Wedding

Dana and Troy had such a great wedding. Taking place at the beautiful Kalispel Country Club, and with so many great people and friends. They were unique in that they didn’t have a bridal party, but that doesn’t mean they didn’t have friends there. In fact, there were so many friends, and it made the whole wedding absolutely a blast. I loved getting to know all of them, and I'm so excited to share this wedding with you all.

Collins Family Photos in CDA

The first time I met the Collins family was when I met them for their shoot. Visiting from out of town (on one of the busiest weekends this whole summer) they were immediately kind, easy to talk to, and had lots of personality (Looking at you Roy!) I had a blast with them, and I'm so excited to share some highlights form their family shoot.

Shelley and Jake's Downtown CDA Engagement

The first time Jake saw Shelley, she caught his eye. He thought "no chance she's alone." of course, no one was with her at the time, but surely a guy would walk up at any moment. So he kept one eye on her as he browsed the farmers market downtown Coeur d'Alene. She would later make her way over to the Bouey to get a drink, and again, she was alone. Jake had a choice to make - man up and go talk to her - or leave. He decided to step out and try to talk to her, walking up and asking her if he could buy her glass of wine.

Zarah & Peyton's Wedding at The Willows at Wolf Lodge

Zarah and Peyton are unique in that their smiles seem to light up a room. They are so fun to be with, and so unashamedly themselves. I’ve seen many grooms and brides say they “don’t love dancing” all the while still trying to dance or move about. Zarah and Peyton said that, and while they had dance, they decided to go play Magic the Gathering while some of their guests danced. So unique, and so awesome they decided to do what they loved at their wedding. I hope these photos show you a glimpse of the fun we had together, the big and small moments alike.

Rainy Farragut State Park Engagement with Kensi and Lewis

I absolutely love doing engagement photos. Not just because engagement photos are fun (which they are) but because I love meeting my couples before their wedding day, working with them, getting to know them better. This is true of Kensi and Lewis, who got married just a couple of days ago! Yes, we did this shoot the week of their wedding, but it was worth it - rain and all - lots and lots of rain.

Odeh Family Photos in Manito

It is hard for me to over state how much I enjoy the Odeh family. Being able to be there for their engagement photos, wedding photos, maternity photos, and family photos as this family has grown into a family of five is absolutely amazing. There is something special about these people that makes being with them, watching them laugh, and watching their family grow that is such an incredible privilege. The thing that struck me this spring evening was just how much they remembered about my life.
