The Cypher Family's Photos

Every once in a while I get the privilege of photographing some people I know. And in this case, that was half true. I’ve had the privilege of knowing several members of the Cypher family (Ezra and his sister Eliza) over the last couple of years as I am the youth pastor at the youth group they go to. I’ve had Ezra over to my house, and beaten him in a football game (he may be taller than me, but don’t discount my old-man muscle). So getting to meet the whole family, watch them interact, and get to know them more myself was absolutely awesome. So excited to share these photos, and definitely looking forward to the next time!

The Lawyer Family Photos

I had the chance to meet the Lawyer family for the first time when we met at this shoot. They were immediately kind, easy to talk to, and ready for some fun shots. They were only up in this area for a little bit, so I'm glad we could find a time to make it all happen, and I'm so happy we ended up with such a beautiful day for it (just barely missed the smoke!). Here are some of my favorites.

Courtney and Dominic's Silver Valley Engagement

They met when they were in high school. They were friends, but things never seemed to align. Eden and Dillon's Hayden Idaho Backyard Wedding

Eden and Dillon are special. From the first time I met them, to watching Eden say "yes" on the beach in Mexico, I have enjoyed every moment I have had with them. They aren't just cool people, but they are kind, and easy to talk to. They make you feel like you are a part - even if you're just the photographer. I have loved being there for so many of their big family moments, and i'm so proud that I get to share some of those moments here with you today.

Personal - Father-Son Trip in Glacier National Park

When my son Isaiah turned 11, I took him on a father son trip to Rainier National Park. Now, three years later my youngest son, Judah, has turned 11 and we had the chance to go on a trip together, this time to Glacier National Park! Judah and I had decidedly better weather over the course of our two nights there, but in both cases we got at least one epic hike in. This is always such a great trip, and absolutely a core memory for me with my boys.
