The first time they met was when Luna moved in next door. At first, neither one of them thought the other was interested - at all. They started to hang out, but it was mostly games, or shows, but again, almost zero interest. Luna decided she liked Jeremy - that is, thought he'd be fun to hang out with - when he came over to her place to help her move some furnature. She told me that she thought he was pretty spunky, in that when she told him where she wanted the couch he responded with something like "you're going to put it THERE". He wasn't afraid to be himself, and to joke around with her in his own way.
Read MoreMatt and Kelly met in person. IRL is how some say it these days. Back then, they were with a friend helping make an event happen, and since both are involved in their community, they ended up running into each other. They would then happen to meet again just a little bit later at No-Li Brewery. This second meeting was a big deal, because it was when Matt really started to notice Kelly - that is to say, he tried to hit on her. She was kind, super easy to talk to, and a lot of fun (plus she gave him and his friends a couple cups for free).
Read MoreLast year I had the chance to do Eric and Magda’s engagement photos and wedding photos. So when Eric called me up this year and asked if I wanted to take some photos of their family (now featuring the beautiful little dog!) I was 100% on board. These are two people I have always enjoyed talking to, from the first time we met at the coffee shop to the very end of their wedding day - they have just been great people. So I hope you love some of these family photos! They are just a couple highlights.
Read MoreWhat's weird about Dom and Reagan is that they met in person. Yeah, you heard me right, in the flesh and blood. They met at work, and while their friendship started there, it grew into so much more. They both love hiking and of course, their amazing dog. They love helping others, and being in the outdoors. They are kind, easy to talk to, and quick to laugh at a good joke. It’s all these little things that caused each of them to fall for the other. First friends, soon forever
Read MoreI saw this all the time, it’s really hard to look happy in the rain. It’s cold. It’s wet - very wet (by definition). It messes up your hair, makes your clothes uncomfortable, and makes existing hard. So when I got to Will and Jordan’s wedding in Mid-Ocotober, I was wondering how the potential for rain would affect the day. While we got very lucky and it held off for most of the portraits, it really started raining on us in the middle of the ceremony. People had umbrellas, yes, but Jordan went without. As the rain fell, and things got more and more wet something struck me - these two seemed to be able to kill it in any situation. They never ceased being kind, never ceased having fun, and were ready for anything. And it shows! I absolutely love how these photos turned out. An amazing couple, group, location, everything came together for an awesome and beautiful wedding that I had a blast being a part of. Here are some of my favorites from the day.
Read MoreThey met when they were younger, because Annie is Kevin's friends little sister. For years, that's exactly how she was viewed as well - Alex's little sister. That said, it didn't actually stop Kevin from hitting on her now and then, but because she was in a relationship she didn't acknowledge it one way or the other. He was her brothers friend, after all.
