Brittney and Tanner met because they have a mutual friend. In fact, they met and became acquaintances for a good while before they really met. That is to say, it wasn't uncommon for them to walk by each other on campus, but they never hung out. This was true for about a year until one of their mutual friends was having a going away party, and they were both invited. Turns out though, Brittney needed a ride, and so her friend said Tanner would be a good person to ask.
Read MoreRene and Nick have such a cool story. It didn't start out on an app - but it also didn't REALLY start in person either. It started because of Rene's aunt. It just so happened that her aunt was doing a lot of painting and so she would go into Nick's work quite often. It was here she noticed he was single and so she began to talk a lot about her beautiful niece. This was true as well when she talked to Rene about the "handsome guy at Sherwin Williams".
Read MoreMegan and Nik are two people I've really enjoyed getting to know. From their engagement shoot at English Point to their wedding downtown Coeur d’Alene at one of the oldest buildings in all of Idaho, I've loved watching these two laugh, spend time together, and of course, get married! The Galloway family is special. They clearly get along, but even more clearly love each other. I had a blast capturing them and their interactions, but also seeing them again (as I had the chance to photograph Derek and Stephanie’s wedding a couple of years ago).. Hope you love the photos from this late winter family shoot!
Read MoreRhea reached out to me recently with a plan. She wasn’t looking for a photographer for a wedding a year or two away—she was getting married in just a couple of weeks! She asked if I could be there to document their surprise elopement at Farragut State Park, and I’m so glad the stars aligned so I could say yes. Watching Rhea and Divine see each other for the first time was incredible, but being the only witness there (alongside the officiant and her husband) was a privilege that is hard to put into words.
