Kanaan and Jessica's Downtown Spokane Engagement

Kanaan and Jessica have a super unique story - very much so, in fact. They met in person. Yes, in real life! No app was involved, no swiping, just two friends named Will and Grace. Jessica and Kanaan were one friend away from meeting for a while, but initially things like both being in a relationship slowed it all down (naturally). But they would finally meet at a Denny's for brunch. No sparks flew. No numbers were exchanged. They met, they ate, and they left (Kanaan was still in a relationship at the time).

Skyler and Sarah's Engagement Photos on Tubbs Hill

They met online - they both swiped right. The biggest problem with the whole thing though wasn't that they matched, but that Skyler was in Pakistan when it happened - yeah. So what that meant is they had to talk, and talk they did! First it was over the app, but then quickly moved to Snapchat and then to WhatsApp. They would start doing video calls "every once in a while" and would generally get to know each other.

Jeff & Nicola's Backyard Wedding

Jeff and Nicola had a super unique wedding. They approached it in a totally different way, with a huge focus on getting photos of guests, a low amount of portraits and bridal party photos. Jeff and Nicola set out to spend the whole day with their guests, and I think they hit that mark. Such a great group of people, such an awesome couple who are kind and thoughtful, with some amazing kids. What an awesome wedding to be a part of, and i’m so excited to share these memories and moments.

Gabe and Mary's Family Photos!

It’s crazy to me to think that Gabe and Mary’s wedding was a couple of YEARS ago, which just blows my mind. Their wedding was amazing for so many reasons, but to be contacted later and asked to photograph their growing family was such a huge compliment. Being able to be there for the engagement, wedding, and then watch a family grow? Man. It was so great to see them and their absolutely beautiful daughter. But now I have the chance to share these family photos! I hope you all love them as much as I loved taking them.

Nick and Kirsten's Kendal Yards Engagement

They met online - which shouldn't be surprising at this point. In their case, they "matched" two times in the past, but Nick thought Kirsten was "too young" for him (she's only 3 years younger than him), so they never really talked. But when they matched for the third time, Nick messaged her and said something along the lines of "third time means we better get married!" Which didn't concern Kirsten at all. In fact, she was excited to meet Nick.

Mack and Mayra's Arbor Crest Wedding

Mack and Mayra’s Arbor Crest wedding was absolutely beautiful for so so many reasons. Not only is it so easy to get along with Mack and Mayra, but it was with their friends and family as well. Navigating nine bridesmaids and six groomsman, and all the family can often be a lot of work, but this group made it fun and easy. In addition to that, they were all so down to dance it made the wedding just go by quickly. Throw in on top that Mack and Mayra are just absolutely beautiful people, then it makes my job an easy one. Huge thanks to the incredible vendor team that made it all happen, thinking especially of Sydney with Piece of Harmony Events. Excited to share with you all these incredible moments and people.
