Coeur d'Alene Engagement Photos: Bryce & Krystal
Bryce and Krystal's paths seem to have been destined to cross. Krystal knew Bryce's brother in the police academy, she even helped Bryce get some medicine for his boy when he needed it (although she did so through his brother). They seemed to know a lot of the same people, yet it was none of them that caused these two to meet. No, that honor goes to the app called Bumble.
Now if aren't aware, Bumble is unique because the guys cannot contact the ladies. The women need to make the first contact, so in this case after Bryce and Krystal matched, she sent him a message along the lines of "I know your brother". It was these words that really started it all. They would talk back and forth in the app, and quickly learn that they are both fun, interesting, and goofy. This made them click, and it was only the next day they would meet up for a hike.
Before they ever said hello, Krystal (who is a police officer) came at Bryce with a couple of tiny water guns (something Bryce insisted on) and Bryce (who is a fire fighter) brough a hose (which unfortunately for him was not plugged in, so he was at her mercy) - and thus, their very first meeting was as unique as these two and their story is. It was fun, unique, and awesome all at the same time. After the brief water fight they would go on a hike (where Bryce would even convince Krystal to go swimming in their clothes) and generally have an awesome time.
Both of their first impressions of each other was spot on, and both of them were attracted to each other. Bryce had set out to really pull Krystal's personality out, and I remember watching Krystal look at him as he was telling that part of the story and just seeing the love she has for him. He truly cares for her, and she genuinely loves him.
It was after that first date Krystal would tell her mom about him, and after the story mom would declare that she was "going to marry" him. Moms seem to always know more than we do.
I absolutely loved my time with Bryce and Krystal, getting to know them, wondering all over Mt Spokane and watching these two interact. I'm pumped for their upcoming wedding and am so excited to be able to share these engagement photos with you.
