They met on Hinge during the pandemic - as so many couples have. Turns out, when life slows down a bit, it becomes much easier to meet people. So while they matched on Hinge, it didn't take Fernando long to invite Jaimey out on a date. He said that he hated the back and forth of the texting, and would rather just "know".
Read MoreThey met in college. At the time, Aubrey had a boyfriend, so Jared and her didn't really talk much. Her first thought of Jared was that he was "a little nerdy" to which Jared said was "fair" and that he was the guy that "knew Hebrew" - which Ironically he didn't know much then - although he knows much more now. Jared, for his part, didn't really notice Aubrey much - he said he purposefully kept his distance because he knew she had a boyfriend.

Just like so often happens, after high school they just didn't see each other very much. This was true until they saw each other at a barn party one of their friends was throwing.
