Family Photos on Coeur d'Alene Lake: The McGlothlan Family

About 16 years ago I was trying to figure out how to pay for college. It was confusing, and I didn’t have a lot of help except for the financial aid person at the school I was trying to go to (Multnomah University). Now, if you know me, you know i’m not a particularly shy person so when I had a question I would call Mary up. This was so frequent she eventually had my number memorized, and would answer the phone with “hello Brent…” - good times. In the end, Mary was integral in me getting into school, and as time went by she asked me to photograph her family. Her family was one of the first I ever had the chance to photograph. So, 16 years later, when she told me she was coming into the area I was so excited to see her, her family, and capture them again. There is a lot of joy in this family, and i’m excited to share it.
