Matt and Brooke's Engagement in the Pacific Northwest
They met online - which is now about 80% of the couples I meet. This isn't unusual. Instead, what is unusual is after they talked (on Bumble) for a while, decided to meet, and made all the plans, Brooke stood him up. Yeah. She never even came to their first date.
So to say it started off with a bang wouldn’t be quite accurate. That said, if you know Brooke, you know she didn't do it on purpose and was very apologetic about it. Matt, who told me at that point he had "written her off," had decided that after she was so apologetic, he'd give her "one more shot". Turns out, that's all she needed. This all took place in February of 2020, and if you're reading this, you are probably very aware that everything would shut down one month later.
It's amazing to me how many relationships were born out of this time. When people finally slowed down enough to spend time with other people - it turns out they like them! And this is true of these two, as during the lockdown, they hit off huge (clearly). Now they are getting married! I loved getting to know these two, talking about where they are from and how they met. They are kind people with bright smiles and quick to laugh. I'm very excited for their mountain top wedding later this year at the top of Schweitzer. Until then, I hope you love these engagement photos!
