Nathan and Allison's Spring Farragut Engagement
They met playing volleyball. Really you can thank their mutual friends who continued to invite Allison to volleyball even though she kept saying no. But they really wanted her to meet this mysterious man named Nathan. So one day, she came. Nathan told me that when he first saw her he said in his head "she's new" - but not a "oh, cool, a new person to play" but rather "woah, she's new, I definitely would like to get to know her…" if you know what I mean. That said, that first day they never talked. Or the second day.
By the third volleyball day (aka, 3 weeks later) Allison decided she was going to talk to Nathan, and she walked up to him and asked him if he was into real estate - which he was. She said she had some questions about buying a house (which she DID have questions about that - even if she wasn't actually looking for a house at that time). So they decided to meet up and talk about it. Nathan told me it wasn't very long into the "not date" that he realized it wasn't really about real estate. They talked, got kicked out of the brewery (because they talked so long) and then listened to music in the car. In short - they hit it off.
They would talk for months only using Instagram, but before they ever even got each other's numbers both Nathan and Allison would realize that the other person was pretty darn special. They would realize this wasn't just another "cool person" but rather someone they could actually marry. And now, they are! They're getting married - this amazing, beautiful couple who clearly love each other, and I am so excited to be there to capture all the moments, laughs, and people, but until then, check out their engagement photos - I love how they turned out.
