Rainy Farragut State Park Engagement with Kensi and Lewis

I absolutely love doing engagement photos. Not just because engagement photos are fun (which they are) but because I love meeting my couples before their wedding day, working with them, getting to know them better. This is true of Kensi and Lewis, who got married just a couple of days ago! Yes, we did this shoot the week of their wedding, but it was worth it - rain and all - lots and lots of rain.

You see, these two are part of a special club called "we met in person". Not a lot of couples are part of the club, although it seems there is a little resurgence to it this year. Lewis said his first impression of Kensi when she walked into the coffee shop was "woah! That girl is beautiful" and Kensi, for her part, as they started to talk thought Lewis was "quite funny".

They would talk for quite a while at the coffee shop, but when Lewis left, he wouldn't get a hold of Kensi for multiple days, which made her think he wasn't interested. Really, he was, he was just playing the game, and playing it well.

They would hang out and around for around three weeks until they saw each other at a Halloween party when Lewis knew that now was his time. Making his move that day, and these two have been together ever since. Now, they are married! So amazing! And I not only get to share these pouring rain engagement photos with you, but I will soon have the chance to share the wedding photos with you as well.
