Stefan and Alicia's Engagement Downtown CDA

They met at a house party about ten years ago. Both of them had extremely solid first impressions, from "wow, this girl is amazing, fun, beautiful… and taken" to Alicia's first impression of Stefan being "handsome and sweet… and taken" You see, even though they both knew each other, and seemed to really get along, they were both not available when they first met. So nothing happened. In fact, they didn't talk again after that first impression for about 8 years. Through that time relationships would come and go, and things would change - but what wouldn't change would be those impressions. That one person I met a long time ago was pretty darn cool. They would see periodic updates on Facebook, but again, they wouldn't really engage.

Then one day Stefan would go through the drive through at Alicia's coffee stand and they would recognize each other. Alicia said she was very excited to see him, and they ended up talking again for a while. But again, they were not available. Alicia by this point just assumed Stefan was married - after all, why wouldn't such a great guy already be taken?

Another year and a half or so would pass. Yeah, lots of time between these impressions, and one day Stefan would see Alicia's post on Facebook and ask "oh this looks cool, what is it?" - Alicia instead of just responding something simple, gave him a very detailed reply. Stefan noticed this - it seemed like she wanted to talk. And wouldn't you know it? They were both single at this time as well. So they began to talk on Messenger for about a week, and then Stafan would ask her out on their first date.

That date went well. It was a serious date - that is, both of them wanted to know if the other was someone that would be a good fit for them long term. Which was also a good thing. They were aligned. This would lead to the second date less than a week later, and that would seal the deal. These two liked each other - and they wanted more. Now, they have finally found "their person" and they are getting married! I had an absolute blast getting to know both of these two wonderful people, laughing with them and watching them interact. What a great couple, and I have no doubt their wedding will be equally incredible.
