Ben and Madison's North Idaho Engagement
Like so many couple these days they met online. On Hinge, to be exact. From what I've learned, Hinge is like a Tinder but for people who actually want a real relationship. And in Ben and Madison's case, that was absolutely true. Both of them coming out of COVID looking for something different. They would end up "meeting" online and chatting for about 3 weeks before finally getting to meet (although both of them had another date lined up the next day). Madison told me that Ben stood out even more because of how horrible the date the next day went.
Either way, it went well. They realized they were both training for the same triathlon, and then decided to train together. There's something pretty great about being active with the people you love the most, and that seems to be what Ben and Madison do. The first time I met them Madison had a basically* broken leg from a skiing accident (if I remember correctly) yet she was still out on the dance floor dancing the night away. These two have always been so quick to smile, so quick to engage, and are so fun to talk to. I remember it when I photographed Ben's sisters wedding (shout out to Alex and Rebecca!) and it was reaffirmed to me here. I can honestly say I've never had a couple go to jump in the water, in late October, with the temperatures outside being close to freezing. What a great engagement shoot this was, what an awesome couple, and I'm so excited to share these with you all!
