Coeur d'Alene Engagement Photography: Randy & Payton

They met at Nashville North. It was one of those moments where Payton and her girlfriends had arrived early to get one of the best spots (right by the dance floor) and Randy and his friends showed up late. In this instance, him and his friends noticed that one of the best tables had some girl jackets on it, so they decided to "not notice' and happen to sit there as well. So when they ladies came over after the song there were some guys at their table.

Randy said he noticed Payton very quickly. "woah" was what I think he said he thought when he saw her for the first time. He said she was beautiful "and a little shy" but "still willing to have fun". I ask him how he could know that, and he said he could just see by the way she interacted with her friends.

On Payton's side, she said she noticed Randy almost right away as well. "He was super cute" - which normally wouldn't have been enough to talk to him. You can thank Payton's friend for going "if only someone  was available to dance with her" and looking meaningfully at the guys who had decided to share their table. - Randy would jump in.

That night they would dance, they would talk, and in the end, they would share their Snaps.  I asked what they thought coming out of that first meeting and both of them were so excited - they had met someone that was awesome. And it wasn't long before Randy was realizing how great he had it. It was their first date, and the service was terrible, the food was cold, yet they stayed for almost two and a half hours talking and having a good time. It was then that Randy would think "oh man, this girl might be the one I'm going to marry". And Payton wasn't too far behind, as she told me she would have a similar thought on their next date. Randy was always such a gentleman, always opening doors for her, and being very kind. Now, they are getting married, and I not only get the chance to be there for their wedding, but I have the chance to share with you their late October, rainy, cold, and absolutely amazing engagement photos. I hope you love them as much as I do!
