Coeur d’Alene Wedding Photographer: Brandt & Shayna’s Rainy Winter Engagement
The first time these two "met" was when Brandt was riding a chariot (home made and pulled by his roomamte) across a football field. I had to put "met" in quotes, because it wasn't all that much of a true meeting. They started to know of each other's existence is perhaps a better way to put it. Brandt would ask his friend to tell Shayna hello, and they would try and flirt through said friend until she said "talk to her yourself!" and they would start talking over Snapchat.
Brandt told me he was able to be much bolder in pursuing Shayna because there wasn't really a consequence to failure - as he didn't think he'd ever see her again. In the end, they would talk for several weeks before eventually going to Scarywood together. This is where things would pick up for them, as it was the first time they would actually hang out in person. And the good thing was - it was Scarywood. What I mean by that, Brandt had a perfect opportunity to hold her hand, and be that comforting presence when things would get scary something he would definitely take advantage of. It was before this (during their many Snaps) that Brandt would realize he liked Shayna, but it was a little after Scarywood (around Christmas) that Shayna would realize she really liked Brandt.
The reason is interesting too - Brandt stopped text her. Now for no bad reason, he was with his family, and didn't have time to talk, but MAN did Shayna miss him. She was confused by it at first, and realized she really liked messaging him, and absolutely was not ok with not being able to. It was after this they would start to date, have their first kiss, and eventually move in together. Now, they are getting married, and I am so excited for them! I'm excited to share these engagement photos with you, these rainy engagement photos, and I hope you love them, as we certainly got wet making them happen!
