Mack and Mayra's Engagement in Coeur d'Alene

Mack and Mayra have a unique story - a rare story. You see, they met in person, yup, I said it, in PERSON. That means they did not meet over a screen, they did not both swipe right, and they did not send text on their first interaction. Pretty weird, huh? Instead, they saw each other in class. Both of them told me the other caught their eye day one, but Mack - who chose to sit in the back - was far from Mayra (who was in the front, naturally), so he couldn't talk to her. The class had no group projects and no discussion, so while both of them saw each other, they didn't talk for the whole semester.

Fast forward several months to finals week, and Mack had a plan to talk to her (that way if she rejected him, there would only be a couple days left in class). But Mayra was a quick walker, so by the time he got out of class, she was already halfway across campus - so he ran to catch up. Mayra, for her part, knew someone was running, but didn't know it was Mack. When he got there though, he said something to the effect of "My name is Mack, you're absolutely gorgeous, I'd love to get you some coffee and get to know you better" to which Mayra said "ok" and they went on a date in that very moment (to get some very bad sandwiches).

So even after saying hello, these two still didn't text - they talked face to face as their first interaction - a rarity indeed.

This first date went very well (in spite of the sandwhiches) and they would only take a month or so to make their relationship official. Then, over time and through Covid, these two would get to know each other better, actually get each other's numbers, and would grow in friendship and in love. Now they are getting married, and it is going to be awesome! I'm so excited for their Arbor Crest Wedding!
