Seniors - John

I met John a couple years ago when I did his oldest sisters senior photos, then again a couple years later when I had the chance to photograph his other sister. So when I was contacted to do his photos, it was a huge compliment (as it always is when someone has seen your work, met you, and wants more). John wanted to show off his two trucks (which we clearly did) as well as capture some photos on the water, because that’s what he loves. I really enjoyed being there, and am pumped to share these with you guys.

Skyler and Sarah's Engagement Photos on Tubbs Hill

They met online - they both swiped right. The biggest problem with the whole thing though wasn't that they matched, but that Skyler was in Pakistan when it happened - yeah. So what that meant is they had to talk, and talk they did! First it was over the app, but then quickly moved to Snapchat and then to WhatsApp. They would start doing video calls "every once in a while" and would generally get to know each other.

Will and Jordan's Engagement in Coeur d'Alene

Will and Jordan met online - as almost everyone does these days. The weird thing about it was that Will lived in Washington, while Jordan lived in Nashville. Yeah, if you're trying to think "how did they match?!" That's exactly what Jordan was thinking too. So she messaged him "You're not from here, are you?" - There must have been something that tipped her off. Either way, the reason is simple, Will said the people in our area "just weren't working out" and so he changed his matchable area to be very, very large.

Fernando and Jaimey's Tubbs Hill Engagement

They met on Hinge during the pandemic - as so many couples have. Turns out, when life slows down a bit, it becomes much easier to meet people. So while they matched on Hinge, it didn't take Fernando long to invite Jaimey out on a date. He said that he hated the back and forth of the texting, and would rather just "know".

Mack and Mayra's Engagement in Coeur d'Alene

Mack and Mayra have a unique story - a rare story. You see, they met in person, yup, I said it, in PERSON. That means they did not meet over a screen, they did not both swipe right, and they did not send text on their first interaction. Pretty weird, huh? Instead, they saw each other in class. Both of them told me the other caught their eye day one, but Mack - who chose to sit in the back - was far from Mayra (who was in the front, naturally), so he couldn't talk to her. The class had no group projects and no discussion, so while both of them saw each other, they didn't talk for the whole semester.

Trevor and Whitney's Beautiful Cloudy Day Engagement

Trevor and Whitney met as so many people do these days, online. The first date didn't happen because Trevor decided he needed to go snowboarding in the mountains. Makes sense, the snow was good that day, and Whitney wasn't someone he had met yet, so because it was so unknown, he went snowboarding.
