They met in college. At the time, Aubrey had a boyfriend, so Jared and her didn't really talk much. Her first thought of Jared was that he was "a little nerdy" to which Jared said was "fair" and that he was the guy that "knew Hebrew" - which Ironically he didn't know much then - although he knows much more now. Jared, for his part, didn't really notice Aubrey much - he said he purposefully kept his distance because he knew she had a boyfriend.

But it’s hard not to say it, because it’s so true. It’s an incredible honor to be asked to be at someones engagement, or their wedding, but in my mind I feel like that honor increases each year you see a family, each year those little kids grow into bigger kids.
