North Idaho Engagement: Skyler & Kristin
They met on Tinder. I asked Skyler why he swiped right on Kristin's profile and he looked and me and said "To be honest, I swiped right on EVERYONE's profile" - and his logic was very reasonable - why bother looking if you don't match anyway? He figured, see who he matches with, THEN look to see if there was anyone there he was interested in. Kristin was much more thoughtful, and she really liked how Skyler had a great photo of him featured and not one of him with a bunch of friends.
Either way, jump ahead about a week and Skyler was looking for someone to play mini golf with him and another couple - a double date. So he got on Tinder and looked for the matches. He told me Kristin stuck out because of how beautiful she was - a similar reason Kristin had swiped right on him. So he asked her if she wanted to go mini-golfing.
She said no.
Not because she didn't want to! She was skiing that day, so they setup a date and time about a week away. I asked her what she thought of the first date, but she said she didn't really "think" anything - she was having too good of time. It's when you think that things aren't going very well. It clearly was going well, however, and they would continue to see each other after that. Now they are getting married! And I have the privilege of being there! Pumped for them!
