Spokane Engagement Photos: Kory & Jackey
It's interesting, for Kory and Jackey, their story really started out because of networking. Kory was looking to network with as many people as he could, so he added Jackey as a friend. Truthfully, that was it. They had some mutual friends because they went to the same gym. Fast forward about a year and Kory started to notice this friend of his - who he had never really talked to. She was beautiful. So he messaged her, asked her if she wanted to go out.
She turned him down.
Realistically, that wasn't a good time. But what it DID do was kind of open up their potential friendship. Jackey started seeing more of Kory's posts on Facebook, and she would like them as they went through her feed. This lead to Kory's second attempt a little later - he messaged her to ask about interests, if I remember right. Jackey said she liked hiking, being outside, spending time with friends, things like that. Kory asked what she did for a job, and Jackey said "it was a long story" to which Kory replied "8.7 miles long? We should go on a hike!" or something like that.
Jackey wasn't sure what to do there, but the conversation they were having was actually so great, so natural, and she wanted to give it a try. So she said yes. It was at this point Jackey decided to look more into Kory, and found out he was younger than her. This scared her a bit, and she was VERY close to calling it off. Her friends convinced her to give it a shot.
Turns out, it was the right call. They went on the Liberty Lake Loop hike, which is beautiful, just not as great in August (when the waterfalls have all dried up). They talked the WHOLE time. Things just flowed between them. Jackey and Kory hit it off so well, after the hike they got some food and ate together at Jackey's house.
And that was it, they both canceled any other dates they had lined up with other people, and they would hang out every night after that. Their relationship turning into what it is today - beautiful. I'm so excited to share these photos with you and be there when these two get married! They are so energetic, kind, easy to talk to, and I have no doubt their wedding is going to be incredible.
