Last year I had the chance to meet Jacob and Fong at Jacob’s sisters wedding (Shout out to Hunter and Becca!) and I really enjoyed speaking with them. Well, really, I enjoyed speaking with the whole family. They were kind and easy to talk to. So when Jacob reached out to me this year and asked if I could do some family photos for him and his beautiful family of three, I was excited. Not only are they gorgeous people, but they are so easy to get along with too. This particular shoot was a lot of fun, and i’m excited to share.
Read MoreHunter and Becca had a wedding that stood out to me in a year filled with incredible weddings. Not only are they fun and easy to get along with, but they are also engaging, kind, and have great family and friends. They picked a venue that I genuinely enjoyed shooting at, and their day featured so many unique little touches, from Becca’s shoes and Hunter’s cufflinks, to the llamas that graced the reception (yeah, llamas). So many things at this wedding were beautiful and thought out, and I’m so excited I get the chance to share these photos with you.

That said, we had known of each other, been in the same circles, but I had never really gotten the chance to visit with him - to talk. Which is super unfortunate because this dude is solid. I have loved getting to know him, and as I’ve gotten to know him - I’ve also gotten to know his beautiful bride. These two are so incredibly kind toward each other, they treat each other with such thoughtfulness and I absolutely love spending time with them. Their wedding at the Chateau Rive downtown Spokane was absolutely beautiful, and filled with so many great people, tons of smiles, and an incredible time. I’m pumped I get to share with you these photos, these memories, and I hope you love them as much as I loved taking them.

Robert and Nicole had it all, from some incredible emotional moments (such as when Nicole’s mom was doing up her dress, or they were saying their vows, or even when all her sorority girls did their chant) to some really fun and engaging ones. There was laughter, tears, and a whole lot of great dancing. In short, their wedding was amazing, and I have no doubt it’s not just because they are two amazing people, who are kind, thoughtful, and so quick to smile. I really have enjoyed getting to know these two, and I absolutely loved being there for their wedding.
Read MoreAssociate photographer Dan was able to spend some time with the Cheung family to capture great moments of them, so I think I should leave it to him to write about that experience. This is what Dan had to say: I had the fantastic privilege of meeting the Cheung family, and experiencing firsthand what makes them standout as such an incredible bunch! David & Tanya, along with their two boys Timothy and Oliver, have such a wonderful warmth and openness the moment I met them. David’s father Tim (visiting them from Toronto, Canada) had many great family stories to tell and expressed such a special bond with his grandkids that was wonderfully evident during our photo shoot. Young Timothy could barely contain himself, as his adventurous spirit desired nothing more than to get in the lake and find every large rock he could. Recently new residents of Coeur d’Alene, you’ll meet very few families as kind & welcoming as the Cheung’s!
Read MoreTaylor and Jenna are two people I have enjoyed speaking with and spending time with from the first moment we met. They are kind, quick to smile, and genuine. I love their energy, their enthusiasm for life, and the kindness they show others. Being at their wedding, meeting their friends and family, was something I truly enjoyed, and I think the qualities they showed me come across so easily in their photos. I hope you love them as much as I enjoyed taking them!
