Personal - Father-Son Trip in Glacier National Park

When my son Isaiah turned 11, I took him on a father son trip to Rainier National Park. Now, three years later my youngest son, Judah, has turned 11 and we had the chance to go on a trip together, this time to Glacier National Park! Judah and I had decidedly better weather over the course of our two nights there, but in both cases we got at least one epic hike in. This is always such a great trip, and absolutely a core memory for me with my boys.

Product Photography - Freego E-Bikes

I had the chance to get out on the nicest day of spring so far to get some photos of an awesome e-bike by Freego. I’ve been doing a lot more product photography lately and this one was an absolute blast. This bike was not only comfortable (with its big seat and full suspension) but it also could haul, going up steep hills, through mud, and overall just being killer to ride. Personal: Mt. Rainier National Park

Earlier this year I had a wedding on the western side of the state of Washington, and I took that opportunity to head out that way a little early to hike with my friend and fellow photographer Zach Nichols. He’s not only a talented wedding photographer but also a great landscape one (really you should check out his instagram page - especially if you like mood Pacific Northwest photos) Anyway, while there I had the chance to do some hikes alone, but also with him. Personal Photos: Adventure to the Top of a Mountain

This mountain peak is a place i’ve had the chance to visit several times this year. It’s not an easy hike, it’s not even really a hard hike, most people may categorize it as an extremely hard hike. With over 3600 feet in elevation climb, it’s one of the biggest ones i’ve seen, and depending on who you are it could take as little as three hours to climb to the top, or as many as five.
