Idaho Engagement: Michael & Savannah's Engagement Photos on the Lake.

I'd like to say both Michael and Savannah both swiped right, but that wouldn’t' exactly be true. You see, Michael sent Savannah a "super like" - and that's how it all happened. This then notified Savannah that someone "super liked" her, and she had a choice - a choice that would ultimately change the rest of her life. She swiped right.

Michael messaged her first, nothing crazy, cheesy, or necessarily cleaver. You see, Savannah had put in her bio that if someone was to message her, they should include a quote. This was a test of sorts, basically seeing if people actually read about her, or just sent a message right away. Michael, being the thorough person that he is, saw that and sent a quote. Something along the lines of "Anyone can man the helm when the seas are calm". Ultimately, the quote worked because they started to talk.

A couple days later they decided to go on a date at a Mexican restaurant (Michael's pick). This is the second time where Savannah had the chance to keep her life the same. As Michael came looking all jazzed up, with slacks and a tie (to Savannah's shirt and jeans) and so Savannah decided to leave - at least until her friend talked her into staying. And good thing she did! Because they had a lot of fun at the restaurant, and went on a walk through the park afterward.

This simple date changed Michael and Savannah's life forever. It was on this date (their first date) that Michael told me he knew Savannah was the real deal, that he started to see himself marrying her. Savannah knew by the third week, and it wasn't long until they were talking about much bigger, much more important things.

I had so much fun with both of these two, they are kind and thoughtful, and I really had a great time getting to know each of them. I can't wait to be at their wedding next year!
