Romantic Historic Davenport Engagement in Spokane with Boone and Asti

If we're getting technical, Boone and Asti first met in Andy's office (shout out to Margeaux and Andy!). Asti thought Boone was "likely a law clerk" and was "way younger than her" and so she gave him her card, and offered to help introduce him around. Boone told me that he didn't even realize that happened, and all he was really focused on was how pretty she was. The reason I say this is "technically" the first time they met is because Boone doesn't really remember it. He remembers the second time, when they went to a hockey game together with some mutual friends. While there they talked and hit it off, but while Boone was very interested, he found out that Asti had a boyfriend. And so as she became more and more part of their friend group, it was always something he was interested in, but couldn't do anything about.

Boone told me he decided it would be best to give it some time. So he waited a full 10 or so days (a very long time) to ask her on a date.

She said no.

Well, more specifically, I think she said something along the lines of "I need more time to think through things." Either way, Boone heard "no". But true to her word, after about two months, Asti came back to Boone as was like "hey, how about that date?" I asked Boone how the date went (it went very well) and he told me that it was on that date that he knew, she would be the one he would marry. "when you know, you know" is something Asti told me multiple times. And now, I get the chance to capture their wedding day. I'm so excited for it too, as this couple is engaging, fun, and so easy to talk to. I really loved exploring the Historic Davenport for this shoot, and I know their wedding is going to be incredible.
