Tom and Lissa have been married for twenty years. TWENTY. And so, on the day of their anniversary (New Years Eve) they decided to celebrate - and celebrate they did! They had so many great friends at their vow renewal, great moments, and of course, incredible outfits. Look no further than that red suit jacket and red dress they wore, Gonzaga red - if you missed it - and they celebrated, danced, and had a great time. Doing a New Years Eve wedding is always fun, and this one was no different (even though it was technically not a wedding) as everyone comes ready to party, and ready to stay to the countdown. In the end, it was beautiful, fun, and i’m so excited to share these moments with you!
Read MoreDan and Lisa had such a beautiful day, taking advantage of three of the Davenports beautiful ballrooms, from their ceremony, reception, and dance party. They have an incredible family, so many kind friends, but man - I love how these two just look at each other. From their first look to their sunset photos, I enjoyed Dan and Lisa at every moment on their beautiful day. So excited to share these with you, from the big to the little moments, and I hope you love the photos as much as I enjoyed taking them.
Read MoreJohn and Blair are two people I had not had the chance to meet until their wedding day (well, together, but I had met Blair at a previous wedding a couple years ago) and I have to say, i’m bummed about that. Because these two are so awesome. They are kind thoughtful, and we share a lot in common. They were a joy to be around, and I have no doubt that if we had met in another circumstance we would have gotten along just as well as we did on their wedding day. Their ceremony at the upper chapel on the Gonzaga campus was beautiful, followed by their reception in the Elizabethan Ball Room in the Historic Davenport was something I highly enjoyed. It’s true that great people collect more great people, and this was confirmed at their wedding. I had a lot of fun, and i’m sure that will be conveyed in these photos, that i’m so excited to be able to share.
Read MoreIf we're getting technical, Boone and Asti first met in Andy's office (shout out to Margeaux and Andy!). Asti thought Boone was "likely a law clerk" and was "way younger than her" and so she gave him her card, and offered to help introduce him around. Boone told me that he didn't even realize that happened, and all he was really focused on was how pretty she was. The reason I say this is "technically" the first time they met is because Boone doesn't really remember it. He remembers the second time, when they went to a hockey game together with some mutual friends. While there they talked and hit it off, but while Boone was very interested, he found out that Asti had a boyfriend. And so as she became more and more part of their friend group, it was always something he was interested in, but couldn't do anything about.
Read MoreFrom the beginning, Ted and Sara are two people I have genuinely enjoyed getting to know. From our snow covered hike for their engagement photos, to one of the most unique moments i’ve ever experienced at a wedding, Ted and Sara have been a joy. Something i’m sure is no new news to you. But for me, as I have gotten to know them, their family and friends, see their passions and likes, it has truly been something I have enjoyed. I will always think fondly on the sunset session we did, where the Lilac Parade was about to start downtown Spokane and we were walking down the middle of the road - An empty road surrounded by people cheering our Air Force pilot. So many good moments, laughs, smiles and people, and i’m so excited that I get to share a glimpse of those moments with. you.
Read MoreJosh and Solina are two people I have really enjoyed meeting. From the first time I met Solina over coffee, she was engaged, with a bright smile and easy to get along with attitude, to the first time I met Josh during our engagement photos, where we talked about running, his (basically) broken toe, and of course, him and Solina. So when their Historic Davenport wedding rolled around I was excited to see them again, take pictures of these two beautiful people, but also meet their families, friends, and get to know them more. I’m pleased to say I had a blast. They are kind, engaging and thoughtful, and I can say the same for their families. I loved every minute of my time with them, and i’m so excited that I get to share their wedding photos with you now.
