Spokane Engagement: Asif & Ashley
They met in law school. Asif is fairly outgoing (although he says he's really an extrovert AND introvert) and he immediately decided that Ashley would be a lot of fun to mess with. So he would joke with her, give her a hard time, and generally just mess around. I asked Ashely if this bugged her at all and she said it didn't, that she kind of liked it. This went on for about 6 months as they became friends.
I asked Asif when he really started to like Ashley and he said it was toward the end of the semester. It was different for Ashley though, as Asif didn't really catch her eye until the next semester. Specifically, she had invited Asif to her birthday party and he didn't go. It was then that she realized she was super bummed he didn't go. To this day, she thinks he was playing hard to get, but Asif says he was just wanting to recharge (his introverted side). Either way, it was here that both of them would come into alignment on the "do I like them?" question.
After this, Ashley began to be more assertive when trying to hang out with Asif, not allowing him to be alone, and inviting him to come hang out with her. It wouldn't take too long for them to start hanging out every day and a relationship to develop. Now, they are getting married at the top of Schweitzer Mountain and I'm excited to be there to capture their wedding! It will be beautiful.
