Bea and Landon's Engagement in Manito Park

They met at work! Back in 2020 Bea started working at the Hayden Lake Country Club where Landon was already working. Landon said she caught his eye early, but because she was always wearing a mask he "couldn't tell if she was cute or not". This was all from a distance, as they hadn't really spoken at all. On Bea's side, she noticed Landon and she did think he was cute, because every once in a while he'd come in where she was serving and get a burger and some fries - aka, no mask.

This pattern continued for a while until Landon decided to ask Bea to bring him a cookie. She said she was excited, because he had actually texted her, but Landon was also excited because she didn't completely ignore him. It was from this small little thing that their friendship would start to grow. Initially mostly work favors (aka, bring me a cookie) but eventually Landon would say that the cookies there were the second best cookies around - the first being Crumble Cookies.

Bea had never had them, so Landon said they had to go and get one. Thus, their first date took place in the Safeway parking lot, eating a Crumble Cookie in Bea's car.

Eight days later they were dating.

Funny enough, by the time I got to photograph their engagement session, their wedding was only a week away - these two waited until the very end to get theirs done, and I loved getting to hear the whole story in person right before everything got busy with the big day.

This wedding is amazing, and it's not just because Bea and Landon are amazing. It's amazing because I've had the chance to get to know Landon over years. I've been there when he was a junior high boy, a high school athlete, and then a young adult trying to figure life out. He's someone I've grown to know, and think of as a friend. Someone I love dearly. Being able to capture their engagement isn't just something that is awesome because they are a beautiful couple on the outside - but also on the inside. So sharing these photos is exciting for me for many reasons, but I hope you love the couple - and the photos - as much as I do.
