They met at work! Back in 2020 Bea started working at the Hayden Lake Country Club where Landon was already working. Landon said she caught his eye early, but because she was always wearing a mask he "couldn't tell if she was cute or not". This was all from a distance, as they hadn't really spoken at all. On Bea's side, she noticed Landon and she did think he was cute, because every once in a while he'd come in where she was serving and get a burger and some fries - aka, no mask.
Read MoreAllison and Haiden have known each other for years, because Haiden was her boss. Over that time they both were involved in relationships, serious and not serious. There was nothing between them - there couldn't be - and in addition to all that, they weren't always single anyway. Everything changed though a little over a year ago when they both were single, and Haiden was leaving his job to go do something else.
Read MoreAce is a senior I know I'd get along with if we were to talk longer. She is the head of the year book at her school, and she’s someone that’s quick witted, and kind. Not to mention she has two very kind parents that I had the privilege to meet. What a great young woman, who seems destined to go on to do great things.
Read MoreKanaan and Jessica are two people I have enjoyed from the minute we met at the bar. They are quick to smile, so easy to get along with, and so much fun to be around. And I think that shows here, not only are they fun, but so are their friends. This wedding didn’t lack for laughter, fun moments, touching details, and two lives changed forever. The Ridge at Greenbluff was showing off with some fall colors popping in with this early September wedding, and I love how it all came together. Definitely check out my favorites here, and I hope you love them!
Read MoreIt was several years ago now that I had the chance to meet the Wagstaff family. At that wedding, they were kind, beautiful and such a beautiful family. Several years later I had the chance to do their family photos, and every year since then. What has struck me over the years is just how kind, thoughtful and amazing this family really is. Not just in their interactions with me, but in how their kids interact with me, with each other, and their parents. There is a true joy here, and I love being able to capture it. Here are some of my favorites from this years family photos with the Wagstaffs.
Read MoreOne of the most common things in wedding photography coverage is an hourly limit. This is pretty common and a really big focus for most photographers. And I see why! It really allows the photographer to control how much work they have on the backend. It also means less work, it’s easier on the body, and it’s much less exhausting. That said, hourly wedding coverage has some serious drawbacks, not just in the types of moments you miss, but also in the way you feel and approach your day. In this blog, I want to go over the benefits of true all-day coverage and give a couple of examples of real weddings, and what would have changed had I not been there for all day.
