Kanaan and Jessica are two people I have enjoyed from the minute we met at the bar. They are quick to smile, so easy to get along with, and so much fun to be around. And I think that shows here, not only are they fun, but so are their friends. This wedding didn’t lack for laughter, fun moments, touching details, and two lives changed forever. The Ridge at Greenbluff was showing off with some fall colors popping in with this early September wedding, and I love how it all came together. Definitely check out my favorites here, and I hope you love them!
Read MoreIt was several years ago now that I had the chance to meet the Wagstaff family. At that wedding, they were kind, beautiful and such a beautiful family. Several years later I had the chance to do their family photos, and every year since then. What has struck me over the years is just how kind, thoughtful and amazing this family really is. Not just in their interactions with me, but in how their kids interact with me, with each other, and their parents. There is a true joy here, and I love being able to capture it. Here are some of my favorites from this years family photos with the Wagstaffs.
Read MoreOne of the most common things in wedding photography coverage is an hourly limit. This is pretty common and a really big focus for most photographers. And I see why! It really allows the photographer to control how much work they have on the backend. It also means less work, it’s easier on the body, and it’s much less exhausting. That said, hourly wedding coverage has some serious drawbacks, not just in the types of moments you miss, but also in the way you feel and approach your day. In this blog, I want to go over the benefits of true all-day coverage and give a couple of examples of real weddings, and what would have changed had I not been there for all day.
Read MoreAustin and Kindal were a highlight wedding for me this year. I am lucky enough to have a couple of those, but this one was special. Not only was it in the fall but we had nice weather, but all the little things seemed to go so well. The Spokane Club was beautiful as always, the details were thoughtful, but above all, the people were amazing. From Kindal’s incredible smile to Austin’s genuine expressions, each moment was beautiful. Add on that being able to see upwards of four or five other couples who I had also photographed their wedding was huge for me. Seeing friends, and being able to be there to capture each of those moments and expressions. Austin and Kindal’s wedding was incredible, and I am so excited that I get to be the one who shares these photos with you first.
Read MoreDan and Lisa had such a beautiful day, taking advantage of three of the Davenports beautiful ballrooms, from their ceremony, reception, and dance party. They have an incredible family, so many kind friends, but man - I love how these two just look at each other. From their first look to their sunset photos, I enjoyed Dan and Lisa at every moment on their beautiful day. So excited to share these with you, from the big to the little moments, and I hope you love the photos as much as I enjoyed taking them.
Read MoreDorian and Renee’s wedding was beautiful. While it was quite hot that day, it had so many great moments. From their “first touch” from around the door, to when Renee walked down the aisle, there were so many great emotional moments. I also really enjoyed Dorian’s face when he saw his ring for the first time (It was a surprise for him). Either way, this wedding was filled with great people, and at a beautiful location. Very excited to share these ones with you.
