Kevin and Annie's Christmas Wedding at the Davenport

Christmas anywhere is beautiful, but Christmas at the Davenport is always something special. The lights, the trees, the beautiful ballrooms all hit a spot that says “tis the season”. If you take this vibe and add in two incredible people - Kevin and Annie - and their commitment to be with each other for the rest of their lives, you have an absolutely beautiful night. I had a blast, from meeting their friends and family, to watching Butch from WSU come strolling into the reception (a complete surprise) the whole evening was filled with great moments and excellent people. I hope you love looking at these memories as much as I loved capturing them.

Will and Jordan's Wedding at The Ridge at Greenbluff

I saw this all the time, it’s really hard to look happy in the rain. It’s cold. It’s wet - very wet (by definition). It messes up your hair, makes your clothes uncomfortable, and makes existing hard. So when I got to Will and Jordan’s wedding in Mid-Ocotober, I was wondering how the potential for rain would affect the day. While we got very lucky and it held off for most of the portraits, it really started raining on us in the middle of the ceremony. People had umbrellas, yes, but Jordan went without. As the rain fell, and things got more and more wet something struck me - these two seemed to be able to kill it in any situation. They never ceased being kind, never ceased having fun, and were ready for anything. And it shows! I absolutely love how these photos turned out. An amazing couple, group, location, everything came together for an awesome and beautiful wedding that I had a blast being a part of. Here are some of my favorites from the day.

Skyler and Sarah's Ballard Meadow's Wedding

Years ago I had the chance to photograph Sarah’s sisters wedding. Back then, Sarah was young, still in high school if I remember correctly, so it was such a huge compliment when they reached out to me this year to photograph Sarah’s wedding as well! While we had a windy, rainy day, it was still absolutely beautiful with some incredible people. Love sharing these ones with you from the this beautiful Ballard Meadows wedding.

Kanaan and Jessica's The Ridge at Greenbluff Wedding

Kanaan and Jessica are two people I have enjoyed from the minute we met at the bar. They are quick to smile, so easy to get along with, and so much fun to be around. And I think that shows here, not only are they fun, but so are their friends. This wedding didn’t lack for laughter, fun moments, touching details, and two lives changed forever. The Ridge at Greenbluff was showing off with some fall colors popping in with this early September wedding, and I love how it all came together. Definitely check out my favorites here, and I hope you love them!

Wedding at Settlers Creek with Tyler & Kelsie

It is crazy how life can work sometimes. Each one of us is going through life, trying to live it the best way possible, honor God, love those around us, our family and friends. And sometimes you make a connection. In this case, the connection was with my oldest son’s Kindergarten teacher (who was excellent) and it was her who introduced me to Tyler and Kelsie. And what a blessing that was! Because these two have been so great, from their engagement shoot last year to their wedding this year they have been fantastic. And you can see that permeated through their family and friends. Such a great bridal party (which I think shows in the energy and smiles in the bridal party photos) and at such an incredible location (Settlers Creek). I hope you love looking through these photos as much as I loved taking them.

In the Clouds Schweitzer Wedding with Matt and Brooke

Matt and Brooke’s Schweitzer wedding is one I will remember for a long time. I’ll remember driving up the mountain in the morning, looking at the wind and rain and wondering how things were going to go. I’ll remember how they moved their ceremony down to the village so people didn’t get stuck at the top of the mountain. I’ll remember doing photos at the top in the clouds, with the sun popping out between gusts of rain and fog. I’ll remember the dark, moody clouds forming behind them as they were drenched in sun and in that very moment kissing for the first time. I’ll remember Brooke’s smile as they danced. It was a beautiful wedding, with some amazing people, in an incredible location. Here are some of the highlights.
