I didn’t get a ton of time to get to know Phil and Katie, but from the time I did have with them, it was excellent. They and their friends were so kind, thoughtful, and easy to get along with. Phil and his brothers were quick to laugh, and help when needed (looking at you tie). And their wedding at Talus Rock in Sandpoint was beautiful, with quite possibly perfect weather, and a great group of people. Here are some highlights!
Read MoreMatt and Alexis are two awesome people. This is confirmed to me every time I spend time with them. It started when we met for coffee, but it continued when we did their engagement photos, and then was reaffirmed at their wedding. They are just great people, who are quick to laugh, ready to listen, and just fun to be around. I had an absolute blast with these two, from the early morning to their beautiful ceremony in St. Al’s cathedral. I hope you love these wedding photos as much as I enjoyed taking them.
Read MoreI think if I was trying to be technical about it, i’ve known Stephanie for basically her whole life - or, more accurately, i’ve known of her. You see, when I was in high school my friends Tony and Chris were in my class (Tony) or my brothers class (Chris). We played basketball together, ate lunch together, and were friends. I remember when their little sister was born, and was brought to those basketball games. So some 23 years later, when that little girl sent me an email to tell me she was getting married I was surprised and excited!
Read MoreCJ and Caitlin have magnetic personalities. It wouldn't take long for anyone to figure that out upon meeting them. They are kind, energetic, thoughtful, and ready to have a lot of fun. You could see this in the way they handled the 30mph winds, the ripped pants, the late groups, and all the things that were thrown at them on their wedding day. In the end, it was their wedding day, and they were ready to have a blast. From a non-existent sunset to a blazing “where did this come from?!” sky, I absolutely loved the whole day I spent with them. I struggled mightily trying to cut these wedding photos down to a short, digestible blog, and I am not sure I succeeded. So I hope you love them, I hope you see the emotion, the moments, and all the incredible fun we had - because it was a great day.
Read MoreAlex and Rebecca are two genuine, kind people. After spending some time with them at their engagement and hearing their story, and then listening to their vows, being there on their wedding day, watching Alex see Rebecca for the first time, it’s hard for me to not appreciate them even more. Their wedding was beautiful, filled with amazing people, great moments, funny moments, and a couple who clearly love each other. I think this is even more evident when you check out their Photo Story (embedded below) which includes the audio from he first look, their vows, and some of the toasts. I love how it brings things to life, and you dont’ just see their smiles - you hear it. I hope you love it as much as I loved making it.
Read MoreI’ve had the chance to go on multiple adventures with these two. From a (very) cold engagement session, to a smoky early morning hike to the top of a mountain, to a late,, black tie evening at the Centennial hotel for a New Years eve party and reception, it’s all been a blast. These two have always been kind, ready for anything, and I have absolutely loved capturing each moment with them. I hope you also take the time to check out their Colchuck Lake elopement photos that went up on the blog a couple months ago. That said, here are some of my favorite photos from Robbie and Cassie’s New Years Eve Wedding!
