Eric & Magda's Backyard Wedding in Idaho

Eric and Magda hold a unique place for me because they had one of my favorite engagement shoots of the year. It wasn’t just beautiful with an amazing couple and perfect weather, rather, it also meant I had the chance to get to know these two a little bit more. They are both kind, thoughtful, and so in love with each other - not to mention super photogenic. Aaron and Payton's Wedding at The Ridge at Greenbluff

You may not know this about me, but I have two boys. Isaiah and Judah. At this moment, they are in sixth grade and fourth grade. I bring this up, because Aaron and Payton met in fourth grade. Their story started so long ago that it’s bewildering to me as a father. Who would my sons know now, that in 10 years they may be marrying them? It’s a crazy thought. And if you want to hear more about their story, you should definitely check out their engagement photos. What you need to know for this blog, is that the relationship that started back in fourth grade, from the valentines cards (which they still have) to their school pictures, these two have been together. They’ve been through some crazy things, and all that came to a point on this one day - the day they both said “I want you and no other”. Such a beautiful wedding, with so many great moments, great laughter, and a genuinely awesome group of people. This wedding was a highlight for me this year, and I don’t think you’ll have to scroll too far to understand why - Aaron and Payton are awesome for a multitude of reasons, and I hope that is conveyed in these images. I certainly loved taking them.

Stefan & Alicia's Elk Point Wedding

Stefan and Alicia had such an incredibly memorable day. They cried, they laughed, and they had some beautiful, intimate moments - and I had the chance to be there for all of them. From their beautiful first look, to all the amazing people that gave a toast to these two - it was an absolutely special day. One thing seems to be clear from all the friends and family I met during this day - these two are so dearly loved. They have friends, lots of them, and they are so appreciated. It’s always such a great moment for me, just sitting in the back (or the front, in some cases) just listening to their stories, their laughter, and in this case, that happened a lot. I hope you love these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them.

To say I am excited to be able to share these photos with you would be an understatement. You see, Daniel isn’t just someone I had the privilege of photographing his wedding, he’s a friend of mine. He’s someone I have absolutely loved getting to know, loved working with, and loved talking to for over a decade now. He’s kind and thoughtful, and such a great man. So when I had the chance to meet Ashley I couldn’t help but wonder what she would be like. Man, they are such a great fit. She’s always ready to have fun, quick to laugh, and compliments Daniel so well. This wedding was an absolute blast for me to photograph, and it was so great seeing some old friends, and making some new ones. I hope you love these photos as much as I do!

Matt and Alexis' Bozarth Mansion and St. Al's Wedding

Matt and Alexis are two awesome people. This is confirmed to me every time I spend time with them. It started when we met for coffee, but it continued when we did their engagement photos, and then was reaffirmed at their wedding. They are just great people, who are quick to laugh, ready to listen, and just fun to be around. I had an absolute blast with these two, from the early morning to their beautiful ceremony in St. Al’s cathedral. I hope you love these wedding photos as much as I enjoyed taking them.
