There is something extraordinarily special about Jared and Aubrey. While i’ve known Jared for a long time, Aubrey I have only had the chance to meet recently - but the feeling is the same. These two are amazing. They are kind, thoughtful, and clearly love the Lord. Watching them give their vows, defend each other on the alter, and run into their reception all speaks to the kind of people they are - willing to have fun, laugh, and enjoy life together. I couldn’t be happier for both of these incredible people, and I am SO excited to share these photos with you.
Read MoreTytus and Ali’s wedding was absolutely beautiful. Taking place in the Japanese Garden in Manito Park, it was colorful, beautiful, and one of the best backdrops anyone could ask for for a wedding. From their first look to their private last dance, I loved capturing it all, from the moments, the smiles, to the little details. What a great couple, and such a compliment to be chosen to shoot their wedding after meeting them at another wedding a couple of years ago.
Read MoreI have known Cathy for several years. She is someone who has always been so kind, thoughtful, and has a beautiful smile. I’ve had the privilege of knowing her daughter, and watching her grow up and become a mom. My incredible wife (Crystal) counts her as one of her closest friends, and comes home with stories and plans that she has with her. So when this friend of ours met Kelly Hughes (of the Kelly Hughes Band) and they started dating, I was excited. In both cases, these are two people who have gone through much in life, and to see them be happy, smiling, and enjoying each other was a huge blessing. On top of all that, when they asked me to photograph their wedding, a wedding that ended up being a wet, dark, but absolutely beautiful wedding I was so very excited to be involved. This wedding had it all, from beautiful people, great moments, lots of smiles, and some excellent company. I’m excited to share more from this one.
Read MoreSean and Amanda had thought of so many things, one of which was Amanda’s dress - something she had wanted since she was a child. The colors were all brought together to match the dress and the day, and everything seemed to come together in such a great way. Look no further than the fact we had an actual sunset on a mid-December day. I really appreciate the kindness of them and their friends, and I had such a great time being there and capturing each of the moments. Here are some of my favorites!
Read MoreI feel like I clicked with Josh and Nikki from the very beginning. Josh loves photography, and Nikki loves her dogs (well, they both love their dogs, but you know what I mean). Either way, both of those things I can relate to very easily, and I have had a great time getting to know both of them. So when they asked me if I would be willing to come down to Boise for a wedding, I was thrilled. I don’t head south that often, and I love to travel (look no further than my “personal” blogs here on the website). We ended up with one of the craziest early November days, from torrential downpours to sun to thunder at one of the craziest times during a ceremony I’ve ever witnessed. These two had an absolutely beautiful day, and I’m so excited to share some of my favorite moments with you here.
Read MoreBryce and Monica had such an incredible wedding at the Davenport Historic Hotel in Spokane Washington. It was beautiful for so many reasons. It wasn’t just the beautiful ceremony at Our Lady of Lourdes Cathedral just five minutes away, nor was it the fact that we had the chance to do almost all their photos at the sunset hour, or even the absolute beautiful reception in the Isabella Ballroom. No, the thing that made the whole day so great was the people. Monica and her family were always so so kind, and Bryce’s family in a similar way. People were quick to smile, help, and came ready to have a good time. This wedding was absolutely beautiful from beginning to end, and being able to be there was absolutely awesome. Here are some of my favorites!
