Sean and Amanda had thought of so many things, one of which was Amanda’s dress - something she had wanted since she was a child. The colors were all brought together to match the dress and the day, and everything seemed to come together in such a great way. Look no further than the fact we had an actual sunset on a mid-December day. I really appreciate the kindness of them and their friends, and I had such a great time being there and capturing each of the moments. Here are some of my favorites!
Read MoreI feel like I clicked with Josh and Nikki from the very beginning. Josh loves photography, and Nikki loves her dogs (well, they both love their dogs, but you know what I mean). Either way, both of those things I can relate to very easily, and I have had a great time getting to know both of them. So when they asked me if I would be willing to come down to Boise for a wedding, I was thrilled. I don’t head south that often, and I love to travel (look no further than my “personal” blogs here on the website). We ended up with one of the craziest early November days, from torrential downpours to sun to thunder at one of the craziest times during a ceremony I’ve ever witnessed. These two had an absolutely beautiful day, and I’m so excited to share some of my favorite moments with you here.
Read MoreBryce and Monica had such an incredible wedding at the Davenport Historic Hotel in Spokane Washington. It was beautiful for so many reasons. It wasn’t just the beautiful ceremony at Our Lady of Lourdes Cathedral just five minutes away, nor was it the fact that we had the chance to do almost all their photos at the sunset hour, or even the absolute beautiful reception in the Isabella Ballroom. No, the thing that made the whole day so great was the people. Monica and her family were always so so kind, and Bryce’s family in a similar way. People were quick to smile, help, and came ready to have a good time. This wedding was absolutely beautiful from beginning to end, and being able to be there was absolutely awesome. Here are some of my favorites!
Read MoreMarc and Amber have an incredible story that spans decades. Being there on their wedding day was a real treat, getting to meet their family, kids, loved ones, and witness their special moments together. These two have such amazing smiles, kind words, and a perfect chemistry that shines through in every interaction. The wedding was a beautiful cruise boat affair that will definitely stand out as one of the best I’ve ever done. I can’t wait to share these photos with you, these incredible moments, and I’m so proud of how they look.
Read MoreMark and Anna are kind people, and watching them bring their two families together was a blessing. They are both thoughtful, and wanted to include their kids in all the aspects of their wedding. This included things like keeping them at the head table next to them as they ate, and having them be a part of their first look and ceremony. It was beautiful, and I absolutely loved seeing it. While the weather this day was cool overcast, it made for some beautiful colors and light, and Beacon Hill shined as it always does. I’m excited to be able to share these select photos with you, as they are some of my favorites that tell the story of their day - from beginning to end.
Read MoreDan and Kaylene had an amazing wedding. Set at a very beautiful venue (a venue which is still trying to decide if they want to be well known or not) with a great view of Lake Spokane, it seemed like everything went exactly the way you’d want it to. People were all there - on time - the light was beautiful and the couple even more so. I loved meeting each of their family members, from their kids, to their kids’ families, each person I met was kind and thoughtful. This wedding was a lot of fun because of these people, but even more so because Dan and Kaylene are just great people. Look no further than their many toasts, and all the stories that came with them. Here are some of my favorites from their wedding.
