Shavonne and Tom's Winter Engagement

They met at a friends birthday party - yes, that means it was in real life! While the friend was mutual, they did not know each other. Shavonne, who had not really had a boyfriend at that point, nor did she know how to dance (although she says she knew, she just never had danced with someone else yet), was asked to dance by one of the cute guys at the party (aka, Tom). This wasn't a high school two-step situation. They were swing dancing! So Tom swung the "cute girl" around for most of the night, but at the end he left.

Yes, no phone numbers were exchanged. No future plans made. Fast forward roughly 6 months and Tom found that Shavonne had added him on Snapchat. It was then they would begin to talk. They would talk about many things, with lots of flirting mixed in. Tom even called Shavonne, which was something that really made him stand out. So they began to build a friendship - even though they had only seen each other once (6 months ago at that birthday party). In the end, Tom would ask Shavonne out on a date, one that would include a nice dinner in standpoint and dancing in the snow with music playing from his car.

 These two clearly love spending time together and love to make each other laugh. They fit well, and I'm so excited to be there for their wedding at the end of this month!
