Spokane Engagement Photographer: Gabe & Kathryn
Gabe & Kathryn are pretty special. Gabe works as a fire fighter and Kathryn works in healthcare. Gabe knows a lot about survival, and they clearly love to adventure together. Before all that though, they had to meet. About six years ago Kathryn went over to a friends house, and their roommate (after ignoring them for some time) came down the stairs. For Kathryn, her thoughts were simple "so THAT's the roommate" - Gabe's thoughts were also simple, just different "Woah. This girl is hot" For my part, I can relate to those thoughts, (they are, after all, the same thing I thought about my wife when I first met her)
So they talked. Just small talk, nothing serious. Kathryn told me she wanted to talk to Gabe more, and over the course of the next couple days she tried to find ways to end up in the same places as Gabe. Gabe, on the other hand, kept finding this new, very attractive, girl in his group, and so he took quick advantage of that and struck up conversations on a regular basis.
This all culminated in a night where Kathryn ended up at a party that Gabe was also at. They talked all night. It was this party, that they got together, that they became more than just two random people making small talk. This was six years ago, and now they are getting married! It's going to be a beautiful day, and I can't wait to capture it. Until then, here are their engagement photos!
