Spokane Engagement Photographer: Jeremy & Anna's downtown Spokane Engagement
Around 8 years ago we all had Facebook, Myspace was even a thing then, kind of, but this story starts somewhere else. There was also this smaller social network called My Yearbook. This is where Jeremy and Anna found each other. Jeremy broke the ice by asking Anna questions - not conversational questions as much as small, clever questions that would somehow show his interest, but also his depth. Very clever.
Anna, in contrast, wasn’t' looking for a relationship at all, but in seeing that Jeremy had "no creepiness" at all about him, but as also "very handsome" she decided to engage. So they talked - Jeremy asking questions, Anna giving answers. This moved to instant messages, and eventually, to texting.
It may be no surprise then that this ended up going to a face to face meeting. At first they were going to play basketball, but the courts were all taken so the settled for Mexican food. Jeremy remembers his first impression fairly well - one, "this is the girl I've been talking to!" (for context, he met someone else at one point who was using someone ELSES picture as their profile picture, thus causing him to be happy when Anna was - well, Anna). Followed immediately by "dang, she's good looking". Anna's first impressions were similar in that Jeremy was "handsome" and "smelled really good".
They hit it off, and they began talking and going on dates every weekend or so.
Now, I don't know if you remember, but Anna wasn't looking for a relationship at the time, and it was this very fact that caused this relationship to bloom. Because it was in that hesitation that Jeremy stepped out and said "well, I am looking for a relationship, so if you don't want that, I'm going to move on."
Anna thought about it, then decided she was looking for a relationship. That was roughly 7 years ago, and these two have been growing, and building that relationship every since. I had SO much fun with them, laughing with them is easy, and their smiles and easy going nature was so much fun to be around. I loved it. And I can't wait to be there as these two get married.
