Spokane Engagement Photographer: Pierre & Molly's Tubbs Hill Engagement
Pierre and Molly like the same drink (Tequila on the rocks), and several years ago Pierre was in CDA visiting when he and her happened to order the same drink. Now, to be fair, the fact they ordered the same drink is just a cool little fact, it wasn't what brought them together. In fact, Pierre said their eyes locked from across the room, so he got up, walked over to her and said "do I know you from somewhere?" Molly, for her part, thought she also recongized him. Pierre has such a genuine smile, and kind manner, that it is easy to think of him as someone you've talked with before. In this case, neither of them knew each other.
This changed quickly, as they would spend that whole night talking, and at the end, Molly would give Pierre her phone number. As I said before, Pierre didn't live in the area at the time, so the next day he got in his car and started the drive back to Seattle, but on the way, he called Molly. They talked for the next four hours - about serious things, fun things, life. Both of them told me that there was an instant connection. Things just flowed so well with them, it felt like they had found a lifelong friend.
I asked both of them when that friendship turned into something more, and for Molly, it was around that first date they went on (several weeks after they first met). For Pierre, it was not long after that, when on a trip to Banff, he would realize he didn't just like Molly, but he loved her.
These two so clearly love each other, and love spending time with each other. It was awesome seeing them interact, laugh together, smile. I can't wait to be there for their wedding day when they become husband and wife.
