Joel and Alyssa had an incredible wedding day in early October. One of my favorite times of year to be at the beautiful Settlers Creek. The grass is still tall, the shadows are long, and the weather can still be nice. In this case, we got everything: beautiful weather, a great sunset (something I didn’t expect), but more than anything, we had some awesome people. From the beginning of the day with Alyssa and the bridesmaids getting ready (shout out to Tricia with BlushbyT for the makeup) to the very end of the evening with the inflatable orcas, special glasses, and great dance party (thank you to Ryan from Epic Vibe for that), the whole day was beautiful and memorable. Joel and Alyssa are super easy to get along with, and I loved being there for every moment. Here are some of my favorites from their wedding!
Read MoreThey met on Tinder - as so many couples do these days - and set up a date. Matt talks a lot about what it means for two introverts to go on a date - or even find each other - and this whole situation worked out best for them. Alexis said at one point that she "couldn't imagine" trying to find someone another way.
Read MoreDmitry and Veronica are two people I enjoyed talking to every since I first met them at the coffee shop. They are quick to smile, easy to laugh with, but also so kind and genuine. There were multiple times on their wedding day that I noticed them thinking of people that are so often forgotten - and it is amazing. Their wedding was beautiful as well (and not just because they had incredibly great friends who also happen to be incredibly beautiful), taking place just north east of Sandpoint at Beyond Hope Resort. It’s a beautiful space that shows off the lake and the mountains in such a cool way. Not to mention being such a great place for the many friends that came to Dmitry and Veronica’s wedding from out of state. In the end, their wedding was beautiful, and I’m so excited to be sharing with you these photos!
Read MoreTaylor and Jenna are two people I have enjoyed speaking with and spending time with from the first moment we met. They are kind, quick to smile, and genuine. I love their energy, their enthusiasm for life, and the kindness they show others. Being at their wedding, meeting their friends and family, was something I truly enjoyed, and I think the qualities they showed me come across so easily in their photos. I hope you love them as much as I enjoyed taking them!
Read MoreI was there when Trevor and Jackie met. It’s actually pretty incredible to think about. I was there when they met, I was there when they were engaged, and now I had the chance to be there when these two incredible people got married. This wedding was a highlight for me, I knew it would be the second they asked me to shoot their wedding. Not only are they incredibly beautiful people, but they are so kind, thoughtful, and fun people to be around. On top of that, so many of their friends I consider friends, and the whole group they are a part of I consider absolutely wonderful people. So being able to capture their wedding, and now getting to share those photos with you, is something I’ve been looking forward to in so many ways. I hope. You love them as much as I do, and I refuse to apologize for the number of photos that are in this blog.
Read MoreBeing able to photograph Roberto and Cheyene’s wedding has been something i’ve been looking forward to. When I first met these two, Roberto was trying to plan a proposal, and we were going to do some photos where he would propose in the middle of the whole thing. This blog is, to this day, one of my most viewed blogs i’ve ever published. So it was, on a very cold November day these two would get engaged.
