Personal: Looyenga Family Photos

So every year I take pictures of my family. Not just the four of us (five, if you count our dog) but my parents, brothers and sisters and all the people that come with them. It is normally one of the hardest shoots i’ll do every year, because no one has a hard time complaining to their brother. This year, luckily it all went very smoothly (minus a brief moment my own children decided it was a good time to have a breakdown). I hope you love the photos!

Family Photos in Hayden, ID: The Supp Family

I had the chance to meet this wonderful family on a couple days after Christmas. When everyone was together (coming from all over the country - and in some cases, across the ocean) there was absolutely an air of comroderie, family, and general enjoyment in the home. I had a blast being a part of it, and getting to know each of the family units inside of this much larger family. Great people and energy is always something I love to capture, and I hope you see it’s evidence here.

I first met Jordan and Bailey during an insane snow storm several years ago as we did their engagement photos. I’ve thought about that moment many times since, not just because of how much snow we got, but how pleasant and great Jordan and Bailey were in such a crazy situation. Since then I’ve had the chance to capture their beautiful wedding, and even their family photos when their daughter was only several months old. What an honor it is, and how much fun it was, getting to capture them again as their family continues to grow (and this time also in the freezing cold and snow). So excited to share these with you, and I hope you love them!

Family Photography in Coeur d’Alene: The Zimmerman Family

Kyan and Beth are two people I have enjoyed talking to since the moment I first met them at a coffee shop downtown Coeur d’Alene. They are both so kind hearted, and talking with them has always been so easy. This was emphasized to me even more when, on their wedding day, I found myself sitting at their table (in the back, as they ate before their reception even started) eating dinner with them. I’ve always enjoyed their company, and I don’t see how that could ever change. So when I heard from Beth about capturing their growing family I was very excited. Not just to be able to see them again, but to be able to capturing that amazing little smile was absolutely awesome. I am so happy for both of these new parents, and I am so excited that I can share these photos with you.

I had the chance to meet all four of these amazing people (three siblings, 4 if you include Jake who married in) at Jake and Taylor’s wedding about a year and a half ago. Not only was their wedding beautiful, but they also had some amazing friends and family there. Since then I’ve always enjoyed their company, and so when Taylor reached out and asked me to take some photos of her and her siblings, I was excited. We couldn’t have gotten a better day too, and I love these warm tones we got for this family/sibling shoot. I hope you love them as much as I do!

Spokane Family Photographer: The Miller Family

We had a summer that extended well into fall. It felt like we had sun and 70 degree weather almost all the way to November. That said, it did end, and we ended up getting a bunch of rain (and now snow). Well, the Miller’s family photo shoot landed on a very rainy day. That said, we still had some absolutely beautiful fall colors, and some incredible views. These guys were ready for anything, and even though it was pouring on us I think what we got not only looks incredible, but also fairly dry! I absolutely loved meeting the Millers, and I am so excited that I get to share these photos of this amazing family.
