To say that going down to Arizona to take photos of the Fischer family was fun would be an understatement. To say I enjoyed it, I enjoyed the people, the location, the weather, would also be an understatement. Jake and Laura (and Laura’s family, who I also got to meet on this trip) are some incredible people. They are kind, thoughtful, deep, funny, considerate and fun - if I name just a few of their best qualities.

This isn’t a totally uncommon situation for me. But boy was a surprised that the Whitney I had been emailing was actually the Whitney I knew from back in high school! With her last name change it wasn’t something I was aware of, but what an awesome surprise it was to see some old friends at this shoot and get caught up.
