Coeur d'Alene Engagement: Jarrod & Kelly's Winter Engagement
They met online - as so many couples do these days. It was several years ago so the exact conversation isn't something that is remembered, but we do know Jarrod made contact first with some sort of cleaver quip. Kelly said something that stood out to her first was how funny he was, he made her laugh. Jarrod's first impression of her was how great looking she was, and thus, it drove him to look closer at her profile. She liked to eat frozen peaches - yeah. Anyway, so he messaged her, and they started to talk.
So often there are problems or complications that arise after this initial step of dialog, but in this case, things seemed to flow naturally. They decided to meet for a date - a first date. Kelly arrived on time, but Jarrod was "running behind". This was true, although the reason he was behind was more his fault that something else. Regardless, he would eventually show up (some say an hour late, others only 30 minutes late) and in spite of the tardiness, both had a great time. Jarrod made Kelly laugh, conversation flowed, and the two just had a lot of fun.
That was their first date. That was when this thing known as "them" started, and soon, when they get married, it will continue to be for the rest of their lives. I can't wait to be there.
