Coeur d'Alene Photographer: Tyler and Krystal's Tubbs Hill Sunset Engagement

They met in Jr. High - but weren't super close friends. They talked, hung out, but it wasn't like Tyler was calling up Krystal in the evening to see if she wanted to go hang out. They did, however, share the same friend group. It was this way all the way through high school, and once high school ended - so did their friendship. Well, kind of. Just like so often happens, after high school they just didn't see each other very much. This was true until they saw each other at a barn party one of their friends was throwing.

The party is significant, because it was here they would really start to talk again. But not even a little bit, they would talk that whole day, then the next day, and the next, and so on. In fact, there really wasn't a moment where they officially were "together" - they just were.

But for Tyler and Krystal, it didn't take long of being together for them to realize they wanted it to be that way for the rest of their lives. Krystal told me it was on a beach, while they were sitting there talking, with the birds flying around that she realized that Tyler was someone she loved - and wanted to be with for the rest of her life. It's amazing, these two, and being able to spend time with them, and get to know them a little has been a huge privilege of mine. I'm so excited to share these engagement photos with you, and I hope you love them as much as I loved taking them.
