Kelly & Matt | Trezzi Farms Wedding
Kelly and Matt had a wedding I'll remember for a long time. Not just because it was at an amazing place, or with so many really cool people, but because Kelly and Matt are just fun, kind people to be around. Their vows were so unique and personal, and each and every moment of their wedding was filled with meaning and thoughtfulness. I absolutely love how these turned out, so much so i'm sorry I put so many in! What an absolute honor to capture this one.
I got to know these two a little before their wedding day too, out on their sunny November engagement session. Their story is one of my favorites - they first met while both helping out at a community event, then ran into each other again at No-Li Brewery, where Matt finally got up the nerve to talk to her. He found her on LinkedIn and asked her out for drinks, and even though that first date went great, Kelly ended up accidentally ghosting his follow-up text. They didn't talk again for about eight months, until almost exactly a year after they first met, when their paths crossed again and Kelly let him know he still had her number. Matt still took a full week to work up the courage to text her, but once their first official date happened, he'd already planned the second one before the first was even over. About a month in, they both just knew - and they ended up getting engaged exactly one year and a day after they first met. Knowing all of that made standing with them at Trezzi Farms even more special, watching that story come full circle.
Trezzi Farms has a way of making every part of the day feel beautiful, but it was Kelly and Matt themselves that made it feel so special. From quiet morning moments getting ready, to the two of them stealing away together between all the celebrating, every bit of their day was full of intention. Getting to be there for all of it - vows, family, friends, and everything in between - is exactly why I love this job.
Thank you both for having me be a part of such a meaningful day. I hope you love these as much as I loved capturing them.
