Spokane Engagement Photographer: Carson & Arianna
They met on a blind date. Carson and Arianna had only talked for the first time the day before, when Arianna (who had run out of gas) was waiting for help, and they talked on the phone. It was "a little awkward" but mostly they had a good conversation, with Carson getting some good laughs out of Arianna.
Their date the next day started off with a great first step when Carson brought her a beautiful bouquet of flowers (which also naturally got the attention of everyone else in the small local restaurant). The food was amazing, and the conversation quickly took off. Carson was worried Arianna would be too much like a "horse girl" - meaning all she'd want to talk about was her horses. He was worried she would be stuck up, and not fun to talk to. Arianna was worried Carson would be too "redneck" for her - simply going off some very old pictures on his profile page. Neither are true. If you've had a chance to talk to Arianna, you know she loves horses, but you also know she's not stuck up, instead, she is so thoughtful and kind, and it was these things that really stuck out to Carson (and of course, her stunning good looks).
Arianna, for her part, found that Carson was super easy to relate to, and definitely didn't fit the mold she had thought he would be. He's not a city boy, that's for sure, but nor was he "too redneck". It just so happened he was the perfect blend between the two. Carson had no problem being himself, and was so easy to talk to - and he made her laugh.
So the date went on. They went to a movie (Dumbo, if I remember correctly) and had a really good talk. But it was their second date (about a week later) that they really started to know how big of deal this relationship could be. They went on a hike, and Carson told Arianna she could bring her dog. This was everything to her, as it showed he not only cared about her, but also her family. And it was that hike, and that conversation they had on the hike, that made Carson realize he didn't just like this girl, he REALLY liked this girl. Now, they are getting married, and I have the huge privilege of photographing their wedding, and capturing these moments - and I can't wait to share. Until then, enjoy some of their engagement photos - I love them.
