Mark and Anna are kind people, and watching them bring their two families together was a blessing. They are both thoughtful, and wanted to include their kids in all the aspects of their wedding. This included things like keeping them at the head table next to them as they ate, and having them be a part of their first look and ceremony. It was beautiful, and I absolutely loved seeing it. While the weather this day was cool overcast, it made for some beautiful colors and light, and Beacon Hill shined as it always does. I’m excited to be able to share these select photos with you, as they are some of my favorites that tell the story of their day - from beginning to end.
Read MoreYou may not know this about me, but I have two boys. Isaiah and Judah. At this moment, they are in sixth grade and fourth grade. I bring this up, because Aaron and Payton met in fourth grade. Their story started so long ago that it’s bewildering to me as a father. Who would my sons know now, that in 10 years they may be marrying them? It’s a crazy thought. And if you want to hear more about their story, you should definitely check out their engagement photos. What you need to know for this blog, is that the relationship that started back in fourth grade, from the valentines cards (which they still have) to their school pictures, these two have been together. They’ve been through some crazy things, and all that came to a point on this one day - the day they both said “I want you and no other”. Such a beautiful wedding, with so many great moments, great laughter, and a genuinely awesome group of people. This wedding was a highlight for me this year, and I don’t think you’ll have to scroll too far to understand why - Aaron and Payton are awesome for a multitude of reasons, and I hope that is conveyed in these images. I certainly loved taking them.
Read MoreThey met in forth grade. Payton told me that when she first met Aaron she didn't like him - boys were weird. Aaron, on the other hand, said his first thought was "woah, she's beautiful" or something along those lines. Either way, Aaron's interest in Payton started in the fourth grade, and depending on who you talk to, it may or may not have ever stopped.

It was an experience I will never forget, and something I will revisit again and again. So taking those experiences, fighting through rapids, jumping (or falling) off the boat, eating on the beach, and sleeping in the white sands with these two amazing people, and then being able to be there at their wedding was something I absolutely loved. They are kind, thoughtful, and so quick to smile - at a wedding or covered in dirt on the side of a river. Here are some of my favorites from their fall wedding.
Read MoreA couple years ago I had the chance to meet Matt and Kendal at another wedding I was photographing (Shout out to Rob and Cheyene!). Kendal was a bridesmaid in that wedding, so I had the chance to get to know her better than Matt (she even held the umbrella for us, as that day was a very rainy one - not unlike this day). So when she contacted me late this year because her and Matt were looking to Elope, I was so excited to say that I had their date open. Being able to meet up with them in the mountains, get some incredible photos of two beautiful people is something I absolutely love doing.
Read MoreJoe and Nicole are two people I have absolutely loved getting to know. From their amazing fall engagement session where I got to hear their story, to their wedding, which had so many great people and great moments. I am so excited to be able to share this incredible wedding at the Coeur d’Alene Resort, and I hope you love these photos, these memories, as much as I loved living them.
