Michael and Savannah are two people I’ve really enjoyed getting to know. They are kind, thoughtful, and so clearly in love. Their wedding at the top of Schweitzer Mountain was absolutely gorgeous, and I’m so happy I had the chance to be there, to capture the moments, big and small. There aren’t many places that you get to celebrate a new life together at the top of the world, and Schweitzer is one of them. What a great place, with some great people, and an amazing couple to be a part of an awesome celebration.
Read MoreEarlier this year I had a wedding on the western side of the state of Washington, and I took that opportunity to head out that way a little early to hike with my friend and fellow photographer Zach Nichols. He’s not only a talented wedding photographer but also a great landscape one (really you should check out his instagram page - especially if you like mood Pacific Northwest photos) Anyway, while there I had the chance to do some hikes alone, but also with him. I’m super pumped to be able to share some of my favorite photos from that trip.
Read MoreWhat an honor it has been knowing this young man. He’s kind, thoughtful, strong, quick with a laugh and kind word, and absolutely a joy to be around. So being able to spend some extra time with him to take his senior photos was a blessing to me. Kiefer is a gifted athlete, playing soccer and basketball at Christian Center School, he’s also great on the drums, and is someone I genuinely enjoy talking with. I hope I was able to capture some of who he is in these photos, and I hope you love them as well.
Read MoreAndy and Margeaux have been so great to work with, from the first time we met in a pizza restaurant on the south hill of Spokane to their engagement photos, I have loved watching them interact, laugh together and just have a good time. I love the way Margeaux looks at him, the way the share stories, and the chemistry they have. On their wedding day, I had the chance to meet many of their friends, and that added so much more context to their relationship, and brought even more color to their personalities. I had so much fun with these two, and I’m so excited to be able to share their wedding photos, from their beautiful ceremony at St. Johns Cathedral in Spokane to the Spokane Club for their reception. We even were blessed with an amazing sunset in River Front Park. I hope you love these as much as I loved taking them.
Read MoreI met Tapanga several years ago when I had the chance to do her brothers senior photos - Ron. She was smart, cleaver and great at sports then, but now she’s really excelled. I loved our early morning shoot where we got to catch up a bit, get her in her element, and take some great senior photos out by her high school of Timberlake.
Read MoreKory and Jackey are two people with magnetic personalities. They are easy to talk to and have fun with. So I knew their wedding would be a blast. It was a blast in more ways than one too, not just with the people, or the amazing couple, but the blasting heat we were hit with that day (108 outside). Their wedding answers the question “what if no one wants to go outside? What kind of photos do you take then?”. The extreme heat was nothing to scoff at, but in the end I had a blast hanging out with these two, getting them drinks between photos, and just capturing the joy and excitement these two have for each other. I hope you love these photos, as I sure did love taking them.
