Coeur d'Alene Engagement Photographer: Colton & Madison
The more couples I meet the more I see that there is no "normal" way to meet people anymore. Well, kind of, as meeting online is probably the most popular way for a couple to meet. This is exactly how Colton and Madison met for the first time. They both swiped right. However, neither of them had ever met someone online before, so they didn't meet right away. In fact, it took months for them to decide to "go for it". If I remember the first place they met was at a Mexican restaurant. Madison walked in and Colton thought "woah" - he told me he had been feeling confident, his nervousness had gone away, but then he saw her and it all came back. "She was just so good looking" - and it's hard not to be nervous around a girl that get's those butterflies going.
I asked Madison what was going on in her head at that very moment. She said she thought "oh my, I'm in trouble" - he was "just so darn cute". Needless to say, even though they were both quite nervous, there was another thing that was so true. They hit it off. They had a great time that night, first at the restaurant, and then later as they continued to have fun together.
It didn't take long for them, they would hang out basically every day after that (Elk season ruined the streak), and now they are getting married! There is no doubt in my mind their wedding day is going to be incredible, beautiful, and awesome. These two are so kind, genuine, and so easy to work with. I loved getting to know them, and I can't wait for their wedding at Settlers Creek this spring.
